Bula! (Hello!)
My husband and I recently visited Qamea for our honeymoon. The experience we had at Qamea was top-notch. Right from the start we were greeted with hugs and smiles. The people were fantastic. The Jungle Spa was one of a kind. The scenery was breathtaking. The daily activities were amazing. The food was incredible. Our accommodations were dreamy.
The village tour and the waterfall tour were our favorites! Edmund will most likely be your tour guide and he was an amazing guide. We tried snorkeling for our first time ever in Fiji and we felt comfortable right from the beginning with Edmund as our guide.
Another person who was amazing was Bubba. He is very talented musically and was able to serenade us every night.
Salome, Mariah, and Sia are also very good at making you feel right at home. The workers at Qamea truly care about the guests. By the time we left the resort we were no longer guests, we were "family." The experiences that we had at Qamea will forever be etched in our memories.
Also, being able to learn about the Fijian culture while on vacation was spectacular as well. Like I said this resort is top-notch. A breath of fresh air. It is so relaxing.
We can't wait to return to the island soon!response / report this review -

There is something quite magical about Qamea. I'm not quite sure what it is. It could be the amazing different colours of green in the lush jungle. It could be the absolute privacy or the community feel depending on what mood you're in. It could be the soothing sound of the birds, the trees and the waves lapping against the shore. It could be the people! In fact, it is definitely all of that and more! I will be back. I need to come back!

Staff is friendly and fun. Food is some of the tastiest I've ever had. The scenery will stay burned into my mind till the day I die. All the activities are worth every penny.

All of the staff members were amazing!! The island is one of the most beautiful places on the planet, the reefs right off of the resort are unbelievable and just feet away from the shoreline. The food is 5 star and the local culture is truly the most warm and welcoming I have ever encountered. The island of Qamea stole my heart and the resort's staff as well as the comfort and beauty of the location will forever dominate subconscious of my mind, body and soul Don't sleep on the jungle spa, it is the type of place other spa's attempt to look and sound like. Slice of Heaven in Fiji - I got married here in 2005, Qamea Resort is the most beautiful amazing island in the world, and I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding location! The snorkeling is incredible off the beach, the staff are like family, 5 star dining and we loved the private beach dinners!
