Firstly, let me say our tour guide Kamal was wonderful. He had a great attitude and answered all our questions about Fiji. What was disappointing was the tour itself. When they said it included markets, what they meant was they would drop you off in front of Jack's and you could go and earn the driver a commission. They then took us to the Nadi fruit market which was OK but not a particularly interesting highlight. The rest of the tour was great but I felt a bit ripped off at the start.
The Viseisei Village was OK, but the village tour guide was extremely self rightous and started insulting us about diluting their culture. No thanks for the tourism income. This wasnt a fault of the tour people but frankly if I am pumping money into your economy I dont expect to be insulted for something my ancestors probably did.response / report this review
