This is really a super fantastic small scale resort on a fantastic location.
Couple unique highlights:
- beautiful own little island, true paradise
- good rooms with comfy beds and air con that works properly
- many activities organized (new schedule every day) with fantastic snorkeling around the island
- fantastic staff that make you feel at home
- superb food with lots of choices in compulsory meal plan. It’s a la carte for breakfast, lunch and diner
- many facilities for kids with babysitters for infants (one dedicated babysitter for our 1 yr old and we could choose if and when she would babysit), a kids club with a fully loaded fun schedule, etc
Outstanding against every measurable - Location, staff, food & accommodation. Looking forward to coming back, but for longer next time.
Absolutely can't wait to go back. If you are looking for a super relaxed getaway this is the place to go. The beach is gorgeous. The water is crystal clear. There are heaps of fish to see whilst snorkeling. There are activities to involve yourself in each day. Or you can do nothing and just hang in a hammock or beachside lounge reading a book. There is a main pool which is a nice size next to the main bar. And if you go to the adults only section there are more pools and another bar.
The restaurant is simple but lovely. The food is really great quality with the menu changing every 2 days. You have many options and it's a 5 course meal every dinner. If you can eat it all!
The staff are really what make the place special. They are so lovely. They were amazing with our 10month old daughter giving her lots of attention and cuddles.
We stayed in a beachfront villa and it was spectacular. Worth the extra money if you can swing it. The villa was beautiful comfortable and clean. Great selection of movies. The bathroom was beautiful. Can't fault the place
Truly exceptional! A very comfortable and relaxed resort, the service was both professional and friendly, the quality of the rooms and facilities top notch. Will definitely come back for future holidays!
What a magical place!!
My husband and I got married here and it was absolutely amazing!!
The staff are so accommodating and the island itself has so much to do and explore, we cannot wait to come back for our 1 year anniversary and then every year after that.
Paradise Cove Resort will always hold a special place in our hearts ❤️
Nice resort. Carter's for both families and adults. Although if you were without children I would come in off season as there would be less kids about. In saying that though there is an adults only address which is great!!! Meal plan I think is a little excessive but then again your paying 25%tax in Fiji so maybe not but then again compare it to other resorts.
Snorkeling is great just off the beach.
A few activities to do or just chill out.
Enjoyed our stay will come back at some stage.
Stunning island and amazing resort! Great welcome on the beach, most of the staff are very attentive and friendly. Adults only area “the cove” was excellent and lovely place to chill in the pool. The list of activities on offer from kayaking to snorkelling to fishing and even cooking class makes each day feel full of fun things to do. The island itself is stunning the beaches that surround it and the scenery around it was amazing. Food was excellent! The dinners we had were so good and the breakfast and lunch choices also didn’t disappoint. A great place to spend your time in Fiji. 😍
Terrific resort. Staff members are great. Had the time of my life.
We visited Paradise cove at the end of November, with three kids.
Paradise Cove was excelent, and the staff is amazing. Great Beachfront family room it was unbelivable to see all the details, and we loved the outside bathroom. Food is great, for both adults and kids. Kids Club really nice for the little ones (4 years old), and the teen tent keep the other kids happy (10 and 9 years old).
Snorkelling was great, just in front of the room. The pool was also nice, and we enjoyed the bar fruit juices and the nice wind comming from the sea.
I did two dives. incredible. caves, sharks, great!!!
We really love the place, it does not feel like a resort, we really felt like in a small hotel, and very like home.
Totally recommend the place.
AMAZING RESORT. We spent our honeymoon here and it was literally perfect. The room and grounds were beautiful and well kept, and the beach was postcard-perfect and steps from our villa.
The food was absolutely delicious-- every single meal! You have to buy a meal plan for the duration of your stay and we were dubious about having a big meal three times a day but by day 2 we couldn't wait for each meal.
The activity offerings were perfect. Not too many, not too few. And if you don't want to do any activities, you can snorkel off the beach or take out a kayak or SUP board. If you go snorkeling, go off to the left. You MUST do the manta ray snorkel, it was an incredible experience. It was also really neat to visit the local village, Soso, and see where most of the staff lives.
And the STAFF. The staff were amazing. Each and every person working at the resort genuinely cares about the guests and gets to know them. They even remember our names!
We love Paradise Cove and we can't wait to go back!!
Incredible trip away with my partner, we will be back! Thank you for a wonderful Six Star holiday!
Outstanding. Be back next year.
Paradise Cove is quite simply now the only place we will stay when we go to Fiji. We went for the second time this year with our two pre-school aged children and stayed in a beach-front villa. Everything is amazing; the beach, the snorkelling, the rooms, the staff, the food, the activities - everything. It would be hard to imagine how it could be improved at all.
With two little children we were uncertain about having to travel so far off the mainland and the transport options to get there. We took a seaplane both trips and it was really straight forward. We hope to return to Paradise Cove just as soon as we can, it has the very best of what Fiji can offer.
So sad the day came to leave .Amazing food and service. Manta ray snorkel is a unique experience. Staff look after u from the moment u arrive and serenade you when u leave. Explore local culture and fantastic dives. Leave the mainland and head to paradise.
Fantastic experience, stunning location, 5 star dining and accommodation (beach front bungalow). Great and helpful staff that made the short stay very memorable.
Amazing place, food and staff
Family had an awesome time. Need to come back during manta ready season
We've just got home from our 2 week stay at Paradise Cove Resort and the second year was just as fabulous as the first year.
The beach front villas are gorgeously appointed and genuinely on the beach. Unlike other high-end resorts where they claim to be beach front yet you can't see the sea or have to climb through vegetation to get to the sand. These villas are massive, they're overlooking a wide, sandy beach and each comes with its own loungers (reserved just for you) and a hammock.
Bathrooms are outdoorsey in that they are out in the open air. Yet they're 100% private, quiet, spacious with double sinks, double showers and plenty of room for your toiletries.
The main bedroom has a 4-post king size bed, WIFI, TV, lounge area, fridge (complimentary drinks and snacks), and desk space. The wardrobe is enormous and more than enough room to fully unpack and get rid of the suitcases for the duration of your stay.
The second bedroom is just as big as the first. In our case we have two single beds set up and a port-a-cot for the kids. The great thing about this room is it has it's own ensuite so the little ones don't have to venture outside for their nocturnal bathroom trips.
Both rooms have mosquito mesh on all the windows and are fully air conditioned.
The pool is big! And it's very deep in the middle so beware if you're walking from one end to the other and not a strong swimmer.
The kids club is rustic and island style which is exactly how we like it. Sand in the kids toes, braids in their hair and a day spent crab racing, making sand castles, collecting shells and generally having fun.
The staff that care for the kids are incredible: full of love and energy for the little ones. The best nurting care you can get outside the family home. The nannies we've had over the last two years are beautiful souls and we have been comfortable leaving our three moppets in their care while we're staying.
Oh and how could I forget the best bit - the food. It's genuinely superb. Absolute five-star dining experience with mouthwatering dishes and a menu that changes every 2 days and works on a weekly rotation. So if you can't decide what to order for your three-course dinner one night, you can order from the same menu the following night before it changes to a whole new selection a la carte.
The wine list is good, this is the only thing I'd like to see enhanced. But the prices - compared to some 5 star resorts - are actually reasonable. Which means your eyes wont water when you order a nice bottle of sauv or pinot.
The spa on site is good. Well appointed and offering all the usual treatments. Massages tend to be more on the relaxing side rather than therapeutic. So if you like to leave your spa treatment feeling like a tenderised steak, perhaps manage your expectations before you go in to avoid disappointment.
All in all, this resort is well deserving of its 5 star rating. We have already booked to come back for 2018.
Had a pleasant time. Great for couples.
Outstanding resort & island. Food is to die for.
Nice place. Nice staff. Nice food.
This resort is awesome. It may be expensive but worth all of it. They are so nice and lovely people. I got stranded here with no where too go and they gave us a discount because of that. It's a fiji 5 star and worth every star.
This place is paradise, the staff are lovely and make the place what it is. They're authentically friendly and the service is first class. Fantastic place to stay and get away from it all. The meal plan is a great idea and a real treat! More like fine dining with changing menus. Much better value and better time than staying at a resort on the main land. It's easier to get to than we thought. We took the boat over and upgraded to captains lounge which I would recommend and only a 30 minute seaplane flight back.
