I loved it the staff are so friendly and the sea was great. It is so relaxing and nice to just stay here is has all the needs and also 24 hours in room dining and also they send you a buggy if you dont feel like walking and the buggy can just drop you off within the hotel it is amazing the food was delicious and the breakfast was nice although they didn't have a variety of freshly squeezed juice only carrot and they also have adult breakfast.Kayaking, snorkeling and other water sports or just relax near the beach they also had firedancing. The days I stayed here I enjoyed to the fullest and was so relaxed.
First of all the staff are great and will do anything for you, always happy and greet you with a big smile and BULA ! The rooms were a bit outdated and there was mould in our bathroom. Cupboards were hard to open and the room felt outdated in general for a 5 star resort. Everything is extremely expensive, prices are more expensive than Australia and the meals don't live up to the price. A block of Chocolate was $9AUS. There are great pools including an Adults only pool with swim up bar. Also included is SUP and kayaks on the front beach. Not a 5 star resort
We love coming to this place it is a little surprising, that they don't have more seafood on offer, but the staff is helpful, friendly, and they're more than happy to make something special happen. Rooms have great beds!!! As well as loads of free water activities, smoking, kayaking, rock walks, and at NO charge. If you want to go to Fiji in the wet season, this is one place that you can freely move around the resort without getting wet, ( I think maybe 2 spots you may get a little wet). Our group continues to come here for the staff, the atmosphere, plus you get a sense of the Fijian culture.
I love this resort! It’s such a spectacular location when you’re on the main island of Viti Levu. It’s near the airport and away from towns and cities.
It’s very private so you kinda do feel you’re on an island of it own.
The food at the breakfast buffet to the menu and pizza oh the drinks! Are all mouth watering!
I love the enthusiasm here
The service was amazing and extremely friendly. Food was extravagant and delicious. The rooms were neat and had all the luxurious essentials. Finally, nothing could've have beaten that view.
Food was amazing 10/10 huge buffet what ever your heart desires , fresh and plenty to choose from. Rooms 10/10 huge and stylish. Spotless over the whole Resort
A really great/beautiful/comfortable resort. The breakfast buffet is nice - great range, seems fresh and has an eggs and omelet chef station. The staff are nice and very helpful. The vast tropical gardens are beautiful. The facilities are great. The pools are incredible and kid friendly. There's also an adults only pool, with a swim up bar and kitchen/chef. The kids club and nanny service is great - the nanny can get the kids off to bed in your room and babysit whilst you dine out with friends/in peace 😉 The beach is nice 🏝️
Unfortunately the quality of the majority of their food and drinks is poor. However, there's a great shared tapas plate served at the adults pool. The cocktails aren't particularly strong and are often served with poor ingredients. There's a beautiful little restaurant next door, a short stroll down the beach.
All in all, a great place to stay.
Needs a facelift, rooms run down particularly in the bathroom. Staff look bored and service offered mirrors this most of the time. Pool facilities are good for kids. Kids club is 10-2, 2-4, 6-9 though at times looks like lord of the flies movie. Day spa service was immaculate and worthwhile.
Excellent resort facilities. Buffet breakfast is good but nothing remarkable. Beach is not so good. However we knew that beforehand so our trip was good. A $10 charge 8a preadded to your bill as a donation to local health facilities.it is difficult to say no at checkout so be prepared.
Fantastic service across a cashless resort. The people are more than happy to bend over backwards for you. An entire timetable of activities is available every day to bow in or out of at your leisure. Multiple pools, bars and restaurants. Only drawback was a coin operated pool-table in the cashless resort with no way to obtain a coin.
Great place for families and couples. Offers an adults only area including a pool. All the staff were very pleasant and if you hung around they remembered your name (we did a few tours). Would love to go back with the kids next time.
I had the pleasure of being married here last week and I could not have hoped for a better day! Each & every staff member went above & beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly, we were truly blown away, as were our 85 guests! Thank you so much xx
We spent 10 days at outrigger with 3 children and cannot speak highly enough of the resort. The staff were wonderful - friendly, attentive and warm - they really made us feel like part of the family. The food and restaurant choices were excellent and the pool and activities were fantastic. We were sad to leave - 10/10 would definitely stay at outrigger again!
Came here for a week in the holidays. The Fijian people are absolutely gorgeous people, kind and they love children! Our butlers were so nice and the resort was absolutely stunning, right by the reef. The pool was amazing, as was the food in all the restaurants we went to inside the resort. The breakfast buffets were absolutely crazy, so much good food as well as fresh fruit grown right in Fiji. The drive there was very long but 100% worth it. Love love loved this place, no doubt in my mind that we'll be back.
Great resort to go with kids. Our first o erases trip with a 10mth old and she's been well looked after by the complimentary nanny service that was included in the package. Allowing for some good uninterrupted date nights. Always friendly staff in Fiji. This may be our "go-to" vacation spot for the next few years.
Not only is the resort situated on the best strip of land in Fiji, the Coral Coast, it offers various range of accommodation options for any type of traveller. Suites both families and couples and is the hub of an adventuresome and romantic gateway with the best spa in the Australasia Pacific. Staffs are just amazing with a sense of care and hospitality all the way to senior management
This Resort is very family friendly, with a fantastic kids club and Nanny service. They have daily activities where you can win prizes, also kayaks and paddle boards on the beach on high tide. The restaurants were great, we really liked the buffet as they had awesome theme nights. The only reason i didnt give it a 5 Star was because drink prices where just as expensive as home. The resort was a little run down in areas and some of the staff where quite rude.
Fantastic Fijian people make the resort welcoming, fun, happy and a delight to stay. Many activities available each day to do. Food is expensive but delicious
Really love this place. It is a nice relaxing place fore a family holiday the rooms show tradition and are always kept clean. The staff and super friendly and helpful. There is always activities going on which are great for both kids and adults. They also have great restaurants. 1 buffet for all day everyday breakfast, lunch and dinner there is also a restaurant by the pool which is open for lunch and dinner, there is also a beautiful pizza place looking out over the ocean for dinner and lunch which is really lovely as you can watch the sun go down while listening to some beautiful traditional live music.
Great location, staff are awesome with children, facilities are good.
Childcare, nanny service and wifi over the whole resort.
Food is fairly good, gets old quickly. Some kind of entertainment with most meals.
Highly recommend for a family looking for a bit of island time!
I'm still a tertiary institutions student studying at the Pacifica Institute of Tourism Studies located in Suva,Fiji.. I found out while working on my research project researching the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort amazing and how beautiful the view and services is provided for the tourists..😍😍
Outrigger Fiji Resort is a customer satisfaction resort✌✌
Love this place! The friendliest Fijian resort I've been to yet, plus the best food. Going back again soon.
Worst Experience Ever - Would not recommend Outrigger at all.
Booked for an expensive hotel room at Outrigger for 2 of my friends to stay one night on the 1st of April 2017. This was booked through lastminute.co.nz in the evening. When my 2 friends turned up, the person at the reception (Mr Kaliova) didn't have a clue of the booking. He told the girls that reservation is closed and they are only open between 8am - 5pm and Mr Kaliova couldn't help any further. I rang Mr Kaliova from NZ and told him that I had booked their accommodation and gave him the reservation number. He couldn't find the reservation number on the system and told me that he could not do anything. The time was 9:45pm local time. I told him that we couldn't let the 2 girls to go and find another place as it was late and I had already paid for the accommodation. Mr Kailova said unfortunately he could not do anything. To the Management of Outrigger, why do you advertise on lastminute.co.nz after hours when you can't process the reservations? This is just pathetic. Mr Kailova told me that he could not do anything and reservations will process the booking the next day. How useless is this? It took my persuasion and I insisted to speak to the Duty Manager. Mr Kailova wasn't even willing to give the details of the Duty Manager. After 1.5 hours of insisting, finally the Duty Manager (Adi Tui Masi) came. It took this long to get the 2 girls checked in. Mr Kailova wanted FJD 150 as deposit. I said to him that does Outrigger accept a 3rd party's credit card and he said yes. So he processed it. But wait there is more, Adi Tui Masi rang the 2 girl's room saying that she wanted FJD cash of 150 as credit card was not allowed to be accepted from a 3rd party. I rang Adi Tui Masi and she told me that it was the company policy of not accepting 3rd party credit card which I get but why did Mr Kailova allow this in the first place when I did ask him and he said it was all good. Adi Tui Masi started lecturing to me and I said that she should be lecturing to Mr Kailova and not me. Through all this process, i have spent NZD 150 on phone calls as I was ringing from my cellphone in NZ. I would never recommend Outrigger Fiji to my friends not my workmates. Just pathetic and worst experience ever.
Its amazing here, total relaxation! The resort is very nice and chilled :D
This resort was truly amazing. Me and my family enjoyed the authentic Fiji experience. The other resorts were very commercial. The staff was very caring and kind. It is a good resort for families. I would recommend it
