Spent our honeymoon at this resort! Went there planning on staying for 6 nights and decided to stay another 6 nights. Luxury Villa is amazing with all the privacy and luxury you could hope for. Tree top bure 12 is most private with an amazing view! Was very quiet in February as well. The adjoining Blue Lagoon beach is postcard perfect! Food is a little overpriced The staff was amazing, they took us fishing, on a school visit, church service, sunset cruise, and the caves! Overall service was top notch. Thanks, Saki! ☺
Wandered up to the shop due to the vicinity of the location. Wife is a travel agent so wanted to do a silent inspection. What we discovered was a soulless expensive resort.
Expensive wifi cost $20 and sandwich $22. We heard that the staff (not from them) were terrified of their bully Australian boss and then we heard him Mr Parker on his excavator abusing someone with no holding back on swear words and abuse about the generator they had cooked. It made us cringe to be Australians.
Don't go until new management is in place.
The beautiful Fijiaans don't deserve this from you Mr Parker!
Also the reef dive is the worst in the Yasawas outside the seagrass. The reef has no doubt been trodden on and abused too long. Let's leave it and him alone to regenerate.
Stayed for 5 nights (recommend longer stays as the 5 hr ferry gets you in at 13:30 and leaves around the same time for the return journey). Great spot with nice snorkelling out the front (once you get past the sea grass). They provide stand up paddle boards, kayaks and snorkel gear for free and I'd recommend taking a kayak around the island if you feel adventurous. Staff were amazing, remembering our names and just being generally friendly. Our tree top bure was about a two minute walk up the hill and had a nice view through the trees to perfect blue water, no a.c. only a fan but we didn't need it. There is a small convenience store selling cheap snacks otherwise all food came from the restaurant, not cheap (lunch 20-30, dinner 30-50FJD) but very delicious and we often split a meal between two. The resort is very eco friendly with solar panels, desalination and locally caught and grown food. Many people return and I think we might be joining them.
WOW! Soooo peaceful, relaxing and beautiful. Staff can't help enough, food was amazing and great bungalows (with air con which is rare out here). Not too many people, but not too few either. Stunning Lagoon to swim/snorkel in - feel totally relaxed and refreshed. A must visit, we'll be back again. Vinaka!
Off the beaten track, quiet, tranquil, friendly and helpful staff, great food
Awesome location and great service from all the staff. Excellent range of activities including snorkelling, paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing.
Stayed in the tree Top buree - only a few steps to the ocean and great sunset views.
Fantastic views and friendly staff
Beware - under new owners
Now called "gold coast" resort for a reason, no longer the quiet and tranquil Nanuya from years ago. All previous staff left. New Aussie Queenslander owner turned it into a gas station/truck stop. Full of Boaties and day trippers. Astroturf instead of grass. Reef destroyed due to pollution. Clear cut all the forest. New owner walks around in speedo and yells at the staff.
We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were super friendly, the beaches were amazing, and the accommodation was perfect for what we wanted. We would definitely visit agian. Vinaka
Fantastic quiet location to escape the rush. Fantastic location with beautiful views. Food was great and the staff were fantastic.
Picture perfect blue lagoon and beaches. Breathtaking sunsets and incredible accommodations and staff. One of the best beach resorts I've ever seen anywhere.
Nice and quiet place to go. We went there as day trippers so didn't have the chance to enjoy all of it.
