A great luxury getaway! We got the helicopter in and strongly recommend this option! It's so quick, in 30 minutes of arrival you are on the beach!
The beachfront bures are amazing, right on the beach with their own plunge pool and daybed. I'd suggest choosing one farthest from the central amenities.
Snorkelling was great right off the beach with plenty of sea life to observe.
Meals were the only downside but there is something there for everyone and we didn't go for the food, we went for peace and quiet and an island escape which this place definitely delivers on.
Staff were friendly, and a walk along the small island is a nice way to spend an afternoon.response / report this review -

A really great resort to relax and enjoy the sun. The island is not very large in total, so it's not for anyone looking for a lot of entertainment and variety. For honeymooners or someone of rest and relaxation, however, looks the better. Especially since this is also a resort where children are not allowed. The staff are very friendly and it creates almost a family atmosphere. Cleanliness and facilities of the room was impeccable. Also, the food is delicious. We will definitely come back again!

A beautiful resort destination with lovely people. The food is sometimes hit and miss but you get that sometimes. If you come here be prepared to relax and do nothing.

Such a paradise. Amazing food. So fresh. Staff was like friends. They remember your names and greeted with such a smile and warmth. The island was amazing, clean, well spaced out, sometimes you feel like you have the whole place to yourself. We had sunset Bure. Amazing. We loved it here.

We have been coming here for 20 years and love it and it just keeps getting better with the improvements they are making. When you think of tropical island Paradise Matamanoa is it! Amazing Snorkeling, picture perfect beaches and Crystal clear water. We have often tried other tropical holiday locations but always keep coming back to Matamanoa. We are vegan and the introduction of the vegetarian menu is great! The staff are so friendly and helpful. It's hard to beat for a relaxed tropical island holiday. You can do lots of activities, or nothing! I highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a peaceful holiday with no noisey kids!

The resort itself is a little tired in common areas but the staff were helpful and friendly. We struggled with the drinking water and thought they would supply a few bottles a day like Tokoriki Resort, not the case so be prepared. We loved our Villa and the private plunge pool early morning and in the evening excellent swimming in a stunning clear ocean 5 or more times a day seconds from the villa. Food average depending on what day some days fantastic some days not so good but you can't expect more on an island. Plenty to do otherwise a great place to relax in the sun. Recommend staying at least 7 days so you can truly relax. Also chopper in as they have a service from Nadi airport awesome views!

Couples ONLY Island Beautifully well appointed. Limited Wifi and the cell coverage is a little sporadic. beach on both sides so your not weather effected on windy days. Awesome world class snorkellingbut I would not waste your funds on diving.trust me I've done over 800 dives as an instructor around asia and abroad..
Your isolated and some islands closer to Yasawas and Nadi are better appointed..and have better water sport offerings.response / report this review -

A perfect place to relax. We were told to bring drinking water but the water is drinkable on the island. Best tip is to bring snacks and booze from duty free as you can easily rack up a nice bill.

Friendly and wonderful staff. Amazing views and food. Snorkeling is spectacular. Villa's are large and private. Even with bad weather was still lots of things to do.
