Nice beautiful church in the Rock, very different concept of the church, very well designed. From outside it's just like a rock, within this rock a very different church. Never seen such kind of a church. You can take tram from the city center to the nearest station and then 2 minutes walk to church. Local transportation is very easy in Helsinki, for stations you can always visit HSL website to get itenary, it is very helpful and easy. Great experience about the church, a must visit in Helsinki.

An architecturally very special church, and completely unique in the world. An architecturally very special church, and completely unique in the world. A quiet haven in the city is well worth a visit even for those who are not normally interested in churches.

This is a special one: the church is crafted in rocks. The outdoor is amazing to see. It's quite expensive to visit though, and it might not be worth the price. But just walking around it is great as it is !

The Philharmonic was practicing here at the same time I visited, and the acoustics in this church are incredible! Very lovely place! Would recommend.

Price 3€(free with museum card) a different Church in terms of architecture is amazing and due to the day light that come from the roof you will feel in peace.Silence is appreciated. You can walk from there to the Museum of Natural History. With HSL -transport- Day ticket (9€/24h) you can take Tram 2 from city centre.

An awesome church, even for non believers like me. Minimal but full of light even on a gloomy day, modern and relaxing. It's hard to believe it is 48 years old! Feels so contemporary! Only €3 to get in, a great pit stop to relax, sit down, take pictures and continue your trip to explore Helsinki!

Quite unique church built from inside the rock itself. The atmosphere is definitely specific due to the architecture of the building.

Perhaps the most distinctive church I've ever visited (and I have seen more than a few). Stunning architecture that fuses the ancient, the present and the eternal, without any of the usual adornment; I saw only a single cross -- on the altar -- in the entire church. The result of an architecture contest won by 2 young architects in 1960, this is truly an inspired and inspiring structure.

A church carved into the rock. More of a tourist site than a church these days but quite a spectacle. I liked it, but I wasn't overwhelmed. The architecture is intriguing and it was certainly popular with the tourists.

If you are the one who loves art and nature then this place could be a fantastic place to visit. Located in a very silent neighborhood in kamppi, the church is a Good place to contemplate or having a daily journey inside to get rid of daily life pressure. If you are lucky then you can enjoy some piano performances!!
