Old on the outside modern on the inside. Great hotel in central Helsinki. The view from the tower is fantastic.

Very nice hotel situated in the middle of city center. Close to the port and Marine, Eslpanade and all important venues. Excelent breakfasts with variety of fresh food. Free WiFi. Comfortable rooms. Panoramic view taras at the top of the building which is in a shape of tower. There is a bar at the ground floor. I recommend this hotel.

This is an old hotel but it all works. Top tip, you have to insert your room card in the lift before you can select your floor! It's an early tower block, with the higher floors being quite small, on the 9th floor there are just 4 single rooms! The rooftop bar has good views over Helsinki but is extremely expensive! The rooms are 90% clean and are fully equipped, I don't know about WiFi. Breakfast has plenty of choice although some things don't taste as good as they could. Reception speaks good English, but no-one answered the phone when I rang to arrange a wake up call. The hotel is centrally located.

The staff here was very Nice and the breakfast on this hotell where Good aswell. Nothing special because they have the same things that everyone else has too. But it tasted better than other things we ate.

Perfect location and value for money. We had a superior room which was spacious and felt clean. Small bathroom with shower, but not too tiny. Many steps, some of which could not easily be avoided, such as from the street into the hotel reception. We had a small child in pram with us and had to carry the pram up and down those stairs.
Friendly staff, nice furnishings, the hotel doesn't feel old and dated despite its age.response / report this review -

I’ve stayed in this hotel for many times and every time it feels like a new experience. There are jugend styled as well as modern rooms with glass bathrooms. It’s located in the heart of Helsinki and the Ateljee Bar opens a one-of-a-kind view over Helsinki. The staff is extremely professional.
