It's nice hotel with good bar and cafe. Cosy rooms. Wifi available.
A nice hotel option in Helsinki is the Holiday inn West not far from the cruise harbour. It is about half an hour drive or taxi ride from the airport and if you take the train from the airport, which takes about 30 minutes and then change at the central station for either the metro, 2 stops and about 5 minutes or the tram which takes about 15 minutes and from the tram and metro stop it is a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel is nice and modern and has executive rooms on the top floor with great views over the bay. There is a nice restaurant and bar as well as a good business area. There are several shops and restaurants close by if you are looking for other food options than the hotel. The rooms are small but well planned and has amble storage space and good amenities. The bathrooms are small but functional. Overall a great budget hotel close to city centre.
Not the best location and the breakfast is terrible. One the other hand the rooms are pretty ok.
Not bad but not great. Can't understand why would they put a poster of Campbell's soup inside rooms
Nice room, great bar, friend staff. Enjoyed the stay.
Nice and clean rooms; typical international breakfast; average distance to city center
Nice, modern, and clean hotel with plenty of amenities (sauna, gym, restaurant, bar, etc). Very friendly desk staff. The rooms were a bit on the small side, but had everything you could need, including a fridge/mini bar. Located next to a big shopping center and food court, and close to the industrial area. A nearby park/cemetery is great for afternoon walks.
This holiday Inn is ideal for business trips for any of the surrounding offices. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection is broad and they have a pancake making machine. The rooms are basic and standard, iron and ironing board, basic TV and the option for cleaning services. There is a shopping center across the road with a supermarket and a male clothing store (great for male formal clothes should you find you are short) A 20 min or so walk to the center but there is a lovely harbour behind the shopping center.
Nice hotel, good break fast, nice location
Really good location. The best breakfest. Really good sauna conditions for customers. The best place to be, if you are planning to participate in Martin Markkinat ! We definetly are coming back there in 2017 november.
Free ride from airport 24h. Good restaurant to eat. Sleep well without any noice. Good breakfast includes.
Nice hotel with well sized rooms. Good on site restaurant and very friendly staff. Only issue was with the temperature of the room, no openings windows and the thermostat seemed to be there for decoration only.
Beautiful decor, clean and modern. Great food but a bit pricey, though that is probably standard pricing for Helsinki. The rooms are spacious and have pretty much everything you'll need. The beds are soft and comfy but could do with a blanket at a size to match. There's good views of the sea and the city but you'll always hear the howling wind..
