Good location with variety of food for breakfast but not for their service. They promised to give me extra bed but they didn't. They promised to give me a bigger room but they didn't. I feel like I'm being cheated. Remember to check the label on the table when you go into the given room if you are given to the right room for what you booked for.

Overall the entire experience was phenomenal. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly(and spoke perfect English), the rooms modern and homey. The food was boom and the location was perfect proximity away from the heart of the city.

Located at Helsinki's harbour. Outside looks great. Rooms are a bit spartan. But everything you need is available. Rooms not very clean and noisy. Staff is very friendly. All in all, the hotel is average.

Excellent location. Most interesting places at a walking distance from the hotel. Also the bar is pretty nice to have a few drinks. And breakfast was amazing with an incredible selection of food and drinks.

A good hotel. What you see is what you get. Typical no frills Scandic. Front desk staff charming enthusiastic, but inexperienced. Restaurant under staffed. Slow service. 40 minutes for a very good hamburger. Breakfast good, but overcrowded when I was there.

Fine hotel, but like any other hotel in Scandinavia they use tiny blankets that barely cover you.

It's actually a 3 star hotel, not 4 star. Very cold in june, the hotel has a ventilation system that cannot be stopped for one room. It brings in cold air and it's really disturbing. We had to complain 3 times about it, in 3 different days just to get an electrical heater. Cleaning was average, dirty floor. Breakfast was good, but it needs more variation. Location is excellent.

The staff was good. The place on the whole was good. It was just the size of the rooms - they are really small. The bed was at one wall like normal. But the space in between the bed and the opposite wall is very little. However the room is clean and warm and cozy. Also, there are so many plug points in the room (around 12) and bathroom (2-3). There are newly installed health faucets near the WC's - good for Asian visitors.(In rooms where the wash basin and the WC were close to each other, the health faucet is attached to the water point at the tap of the wash basin, So if one had to use the health faucet, he would have to turn on the tap.)
The location of the hotel is good and the breakfast has good choice and variety.response / report this review -

Perfect location if you are catching a cruise ship from Viking Line from Helsinki to Stockholm one we did. Good room, breakfast, location with many attractions within walkable distance. Worth the price.

Basic hotel with many rooms, but the bar and restaurant are good places to be after a long day's work with high quality meals and great selection of beers and drinks. It is walking distance to downtown Helsinki, but you can easily find more central hotels. It is also really close to the ferry terminal if you happy to use that service.

Friendly staff and flexible. When arriving in the hotel at 1 am the bar was closing, but they still served a last drink. Rooms are clean and basic. Good beds, TV and clean bathroom.

Phone didn't work in the room. For coffee and tea making facilities in the room you pay 10€. Room service charge 12€ each time. Long waiting times on the phone. Room cleaning not perfect. Single very narrow blankets. Small rooms but huge hallway makes no sense. Pepsi can 6.5€ in mini bar. No iron in the room. Small tv. No doctor visits after 8:00 pm. And more
