Warmer receptionnist, old building well decorated. Not so far to downtown (around 15min walking). Room good in the same style than other Glo hotel.

A wonderful small hotel with a good restaurant and tasty breakfast. The main building with reception, bar and meeting facilities, represents the fine Jugend style from the early 20. century. It was originally designated as the home of the student organization at the Helsinki University of Technology ("Poli"). The students left the building in the late 1960's as the university moved to the Otaniemi campus.

Service was perfect. Both at reception, be and breakfast room. Interior of the lobby / bar is really interesting. Rooms are spacious (enough) bath was clean and well lit. Missed a few of the usual bathroom extras though, nothing major, but still. Wifi was easy to access and fast enough. Breakfast was decent to good. Would/will return

Breakfast is ok, rooms nice and clean. The central location is wonderful, just a stroll away from the harbour and the city centre. Gym is 5 € per session, which I find somewhat strange for such a hotel.

Nice Hotel, nice location. Rooms modern, though no window to open. Excellent breakfast. Fire alarm was some excitement.

Ladies at the reception super friendly and smiling, really helpful. Nice decorations, comfy room and bed. The only problem I had was with a bathroom - not a fan of semitransparent glass also point for supporting lynx protection!

In the middle of city center, you can walk to the shopping district, to the harbor or the main train station. The hotel is very beautiful, the architecture very special. It is very clean and the staff speaks excellent English. The room was a bit small, but very nice and we felt right at home. We will definitely come back!

Lovely lobby and great hall in medieval style. Basement restaurant is more modern. Very good buffet breakfast but mediocre dinner. Liked the room but the closet is very poorly lit; had to use a flashlight to see where things were.

The locatuon is good, 15 min from the City centre. The rooms are big, very clean, with a nicely atmosphere and dimable lights. Service are quite kind. Breadfast has several kinds of food (hot and cold) so for me if the best of the hotel. In the room you have shoes and Coffee.

It's 0 degrees in Helsinki and room heating isn't working! Still haven't been able to provide extra heating appliance on our second night, very disappointing :(

Great hotel, friendly efficient service, excellent breakfast. Lovely rooms and hotel decor, and we received a complimentary drink for booking directly with the hotel. Would definitely stay again
