Unity is one of the oldest private university in Ethiopia. It is also one of the biggest private university. They give good education. Teaching to get an income is not the focus of university. It has a lot of positive parts. However there are also issues that need to be improved. Currently unity university is not following the current educational trend and technological changes. Most of the teachers are not experiences in practical profession. The rooms need renovation. The general, the teaching system also looking for improvement.
In any ways, unity has kept the number one rank in private university for decades.

I have the most horrible registrar experience ever even one star is too much for them. They are so disrespectful they don't hold files properly they don't listen, and they don't do their jobs properly. Also they take to much time to process one request, they only care about money. I am really disappointed by the university for allowing such people to work as the face of the univerity. It's not expected from a big university like this...

During my four year stay at Unity University I can mention some of the annoying things I encountered . The most annoying one being the old fashioned and backward registration system . You have to debate with the people at the registrar just to ask for your grades and you will probably waste half of your day just to register for classes. unless, that is you come before the sun rises. The faculty is good and the teachers are okay and the only thing that seems to be going wrong with Unity University is its bureaucratic and backward registration system.

A Terrible University. This Facility prioritizes Money Before the Students, Ruining The Grades of Students is one of the main Problems of this campus. Terrible Registration System, Most of the Time you can't even Take a look at your grades they don't have an online system to look at your grades you have to physically go and take a look at your grades and that isn't even available most of the time.

Unity University is a private university in Ethiopia. it is the first privately owned institute of higher learning to be awarded full-fledged university status in Ethiopia by the Ministry of Education. It is also the first private university in the country to offer postgraduate programs leading to master's degree in business administration (MBA) and development economics (MA).

Unity University is a private university in Ethiopia. Established in 1991, as Unity language school with not more than 50 students, a few part-time teachers and administration personnel. Progressively, the institute launched diploma programs in accounting, marketing, business, personnel administration, secretarial science and office management from 1997 to 1999. In March 1998 the institute was upgraded to a college level, following its achievements in education, becoming the first privately owned college in Ethiopia. Through the years, the institute has played a pioneering role in providing quality education, setting a fine record. Later named Unity College, the institute has promoted innovative approaches and launched degree programs in various disciplines. Unity was promoted to university level in September 2008, becoming the first privately owned university.
