Fincha dam is located near Ficha town (60m to south) in Horro Guduru, Oromia, Ethiopia. Fincha dam was constructed by HARZA Engineering Company of America from 1965 to 1975 as a strategy for fostering economic growth through generation of hydroelectricity, irrigation,
fishery, and tourism. The dam has a 340 m crest length and a height of 20 m.
