    Beautifully restored palace with a nice garden. Clean and peaceful. No garbage or plastic and no people wanting to sell stuff. Just beautiful. Also king Fasilides white horse has a mausoleum here - as it was a hero of horsekind of course.

    They do not let me in.
    >>> You are requested to bring your receipt from the castle entry fee in the upper city 3 km away.
    There is no ticket office on site.
    I had the impression, they wanted not too much visitors.

    A must visit destination in Gondar, well worth the effort and pretty spectacular as well. Wonder around and take lots of photos. Best viewed with a guide who can explain the history and religious significance of what you are looking at.

    Unfortunately the bath is only filled once a year with water. Still a nice spot. The ticket for Fasil ghebbi is also valid for this one
