Avoid if you can. Very noisy and rude staff, to some extent they are even racist. Extremely poor breakfast (left over food from the previous day).

This is one beautiful hotel in the heart of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It's fairly affordable. The rooms are clean and the ambience is also eye catching. The warm lighting is welcoming. The mirrors are enough just in case you love grooming. Enough and compatible sockets to charge your devices. Their is a KFC, Debonairs etc..

I had 7 weeks of fantastic stay in this Hotel. The staff were very friendly, kind & extremely helpful. It offers buffet breakfast & a la carte lunch & dinner. Food is ok but portions are quite large. The macchiato is really the best in town.
One thing which bothered me was the smell of the bathroom. It is the same in all the bathrooms. Some rooms smell worst. I hope they can fix it soon.
Otherwise the rooms are clean & towels are fresh. It was home away from home. I will definitely stay in this hotel when ever I am in Addis Ababa.response / report this review -

Very nice hotel with high level services. Located in a considerably good location where you can walk to many things around from restaurants to shopping malls etc. They have a new branch opening soon in the heart of downtown Addis Ababa. We visited the new location and it was amazing; very nicely decorated and well constructed. I will definitely stay there in my next visit if the new location is operational.

Wifi is slow but the service is great. Very relaxing ambiance a perfect lobby for a small business meetings and coffee. Desalegn have one of the best spa and gym in addis. Parking is not a problem there is an ample space at the back of the hotel.

One of the first prestigious hotels off the main airport road very convenient as it is 5 minutes drive from the airport located in one of the best neighbourhoods with several great services in a walking distancehas a big nice conference hall.
