Return yesterday from my weeks stay at the monteplaya the hotel is cleaned throughout to the highest standard possible! it would be impossible to name a staff member who gave the exceptional customer service that my self as a quest expect for my hard earned money! The reason being every single staff member across the board from room cleaners to maintenance greet you with a smile and a polite word "nothing is too much trouble. As a seasoned traveler I have experienced Good and bad, rarely do I come across amazing! Well done monteplaya you deserve your 4 star 🌟 rating but it's your service that will make myself and others return Again and Again

On our first family holiday abroad we stayed in this hotel, the room was amazing and cleaned every day, the hotel itself was nice and clean, the staff were very friendly and bar led out to the poolside area, two pools 1 large and smaller 1 raised up, both of these were really cold but it didn't stop us splashing around. The hotel is literally across the road from the beach but there's also a train track in between with a tunnel going under to get to the other side. Breakfast dinner and tea were for me amazing, buffet style all yiu can eat, salad, fruit, hot food, freshly made while you wait and puddings available every meal time was great. Night entertainment was ok but apart from going local bars there's not much else to do at night. There's a small play area in the hotel back garden that's good for young kids. Local shops are good and friendly and overall we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. 5 *****

NOT A GOOD Place for kids Rude staff at reception and they tell one story to another we went all inclusive for 10 days but on our last day we got told our card will be valid which it was not. Be Warned!!!!!!

book the superior room for the privacy and luxury.
the staff are amazing, nothings too much trouble.
the bar staff wait on you and are very attentive, raul the bar manager, antonio, luisa, ilham, hassan and evanall were brilliant..
cant fault anything with the staff.
food was good. always something and meat with all evening meals.
good choice of drinks and cocktails at the bar .
poor entertainment, nothing for kids but didnt spoil the holiday.

Last minute holiday and was wowed by the rooms. We did pay a little extra so we didn't have the basic room. Breakfast was lovely even the beans were OK. Dinner was freshly cooked but was either fish or pork. But we were only there for 4 nights and one of those we ate out so may have missed another choice. But there was always paella, pasta ect so something for most people. Puddings were fab. Caught the train to Barcelona, well worth £10 each. Didn't get the tourist bus as walked everywhere, saw a lot more! Would recommend a map or download it on your fone as the city was so vast we had to use Internet data to get ourselves to the port. Lovely hotel, lovely weather, lovely holiday. Thank you Helen
