Stayed here more than once, this is a really nice hotel. If you book your room on the seaside, you will have a stunning view, especially also in the evening. Breakfast buffet was included, which is also very nice and also from here you have a very nice view over the sea. I can surely recommend this hotel although some rooms are a bit old fashioned, but okay.

We loved our stay at the Porta Maris - a modern boutique style hotel. Great bathroom, very comfortable bed and tasteful though minimalist decor. Very clean. Excellent breakfast buffet and friendly helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

Service-minded staff, very clean rooms and hotel in general, the breakfast is fantastic and the location is simply great. By the ocean and the sound of the waves and only a few steps away from the beach. The gym is old and needs to be renovated.

Was a nice relaxing day due to the customer service of the hotel, got a nice room with view on the sea (see pics). Reception (Ruben) was very helpful and professional with the check-in. The room had a very nice view on the sea, but only sun in the morning. The room size was just big enough for a junior suite. Breakfast was very ok and the staff even made me a pan catalan. Too bad did not had the time to use the Spa facilities as they looked very enchanting. Overall good but just missing a bit to get to the next level (stayed on the 2nd floor, room 225).

The spa is good for relaxing, close to Alicante city center.
It has a good steam room that was very nice, as the swimming pool, or the jacuzzi.
The spa price is a little bit expensive for the services that is offering.(29€)
It's needing a little bit more of maintenance, there were few things that were not working well, or simply just not working at all.
The Finnish sauna would need a little bit of oil on the wood parts.
3/5 stars.
