A small and cozy restaurant away from the main square of Cuenca. It serves a mix of mostly local Spanish food. We ordered three dishes and they were all delicious. While it does not command the best views in town, it certainly features some of its food. The prices are reasonable and the service is good. Highly recommended.

A dreadful meal. The dishes on our table were covered in crumbs, the bread we were served was completely stale. My beef arrived lukewarm and raw inside leading me to wonder whether it had been cooked at all. For one of the only times in my life I sent it back and they cooked it further, only to deliver a dish so salty it was inedible. The staff didn't seem remotely concerned - not so much as a 'lo siento'. I left hungry and angry.

Very good food, the best I have had in Spain so far. The prices are quite reasonable considering the quality of the food. The professionalism and helpfulness of the staff is also of a very high standard.

The decor is very modern for a restaurant that is in such an old and historic building.

This truly is a "secret" restaurant! From the outside it looks pretty unimpressive, just a small doorway in a residential street in the old town. Inside the decor is amazing, the staff is helpful and the food delicious. Don't miss this hidden gem if you are in the area.

Absolutely excellent. Food wine service and ambience perfect. The evening was only spoilt by a screaming child on the adjacent table however that was not the fault of the restaurant but the pampering parents. A wonderful end to our holiday in Cuenca. We will certainly go again if we visit Cuenca again.

Great ambience and excellent food and wine. Would definitely recommend if you're in the old town. Share some starters and had the 'deer' for a main. My wife said the steak in truffle sauce was stunning. The chocolate brownie was the best I've had for years.

An excellent choice for sampling the dishes of the region. Don't let the scruffy exterior put you off. Step inside to discover "the secret place" a tiny but inviting restaurant with vivid and fantastical murals that will likely intrigue and amuse. The staff is gracious, attentive, and accommodating. The menu provides unique and lively dishes that clearly have been thoughtfully prepared.

Be sure to check out the chalkboard for daily specials that provide a taste of the local cuisine. We were pleased with the selections we made from this menu. Save room for a glass of Resoli—a traditional liqueur from the city of Cuenca made with coffee, anís, cinnamon and orange. It was an interesting mix of flavors.

English menu is available on request.

The sheep leg in the oven was delicious, and the waiter was always nearby but he was a bit ironic and false, anyway he recommended a good pumpkin cake and gave us a discount for the parking. The food in general was great the price OK.

    the pasta is over cooked.
    the coffee pudding is delicous.
the stewed beef is not hot enough but the taste is fine.
