It's a cheap basic hotel. Don't expect the Ritz, but we were there for a few nights and for the price paid for half board we can't fault it. Clean, renovated bathrooms, fresh cooking at breakfast. They do struggle at busy times in the restaurant which is a downside and they need to look at staffing therr. We didn't use the bar or pool area as we don't really like the style of entertainment in these places

I would say it is 3 Star & not 4 star. The room doors ,carpets were old.Food was ok but nothing for Vegetarians except green salad , roll & butter & fresh fruit.Centrally located.

Beautiful Hotel, friendly and helpful staff, really well situated ie close to San Miguel Street, Train station etc. Really couldn't fault the room at all absolutely nothing out of place, but I do have two small issues 1. Although the food wasn't too bad with a great selection, most time we went to eat the hot dishes were at best slightly warm which was a pity. 2. If your room is not on the side of the pool then unfortunately you won't have much to look at if you sit on the balcony a lot and I realize this is hardly the hotels fault and can't really fault them for that. Ask if you could possibly have a pool view.

My partner and I were happy enough with this hotel, although it could've definitely be better. First of all, cleaners came into our room on our first day out and when we came back, they'd touched a lot of our things, including our underwear, which we weren't too chuffed with. We proceeded to put the "do not disturb" sign on and leave it on for the remaining days.

When they cleaned, they also didn't do a very good job. The floor clearly hadn't been hoovered before we came and the one time they came in to clean while we were there, as previous guests' rubbish and sand was still all over the floor. The bathroom was clean enough, luckily.

The water in a quite a few rooms seem to be working on the same boiler (or whatever). Showering took us both twice as long as it would usually take, as the water keeps changing from normal, to crazy hot, to absolutely freezing. A shower would usually take me 5-10 minutes, but here it consistently took me upwards of 20 minutes.

The breakfasts we had were alright, with a pretty wide variety of choices. Various types of milk and juice available (freshly squeezed orange juice for €1, juices from machines are free). Staff is also friendly and willing to help, although their English isn't the best (but seeing as this is in Spain, that's not really something one can ask of them).

The pool area is nice, but as with every hotel with a pool, the sunbeds are all taken from about 8am onwards, so we had to settle on the grass every time we went down.

The hotel is very dated, we stayed in room 208 looking out to a roof and into the building windows as well as being just down the hall from the game's room, so very noisy . The pool area is far too small for the size of the hotel, with having nobody around the pool around gives you a false sense of the size . Yes the hotel was clean, breakfast was fine didn't have dinner their so can't comment on that. The bathroom currently didn't look nothing like the picture on the website and nor did the room. We weren't flying home until evening and had to vacate by 12 o'clock, no problem with that, but when to get cleaned up to go home their wasn't a changing room to do so. I had to get changed in the toilets :-( I have stayed in 3 star hotel with being rooms, pool areas food and as well as providing somewhere to get cleaned and changed. It wasn't the hotels fault, but having roadworks do outside the hotel and being woken up at 8 o'clock wasn't what I called fun !! In my opinion this hotel should be down graded to a two / three star. It certainly is no where near a four star

The hotel was clean and staff friendly. I wouldn't recommend it to people who love the poolside as there was no place with constant sunbathing due to the 10 surrounding trees. We tried the sunbeds on the grass area but we got covered in ants and the flies constantly harassed us. There is a free shuttle to the beach. The room was kept clean but the balcony was so small and in the shade from mid afternoon. The entertainment was tailored for older generation and Spanish. The location is good, close to restaurants and shops. The local train station within 5 mins walk but on a bit of a hill. I would recommend to older people but not families or groups.
