Lovely place - very quiet and overlooking beautiful beach. Indoor pool was as cold as outdoor pool though. Needs to have more vegetarian options in buffet but overall really nice.

Large hotel, set on the outskirts of Guardamar del Segura town.
The hotel was very close to the long, sandy beach which could be accessed via a decked path and took 5 minutes to walk. A bar at the end of the path was well placed. Also handily, taps to rinse sandy feet were available at the start and end of the walkway.
The room we had was basically equipped with two double beds and a travel cot as requested. All were clean and well set.
The bathroom was clean with a large, powerful shower, toilet and bidet. A bath would have been preferable with our baby but we coped.
A balcony equipped with two patio chairs and a table opened out to a view of the beach and Guardamar in the distance, roughly 30 minutes walk away or 10 minutes by bus/taxi.
The restaurant operated a buffet for breakfast and evening meals. Although there was lots of choice at breakfast and evening, availability of food varied, especially at breakfast (e.g. there was little of popular items such as bacon). On the other hand, coffee and refreshments were self service at breakfast and the 'show kitchen' had fresh pastries and omelettes.
The hotel had a café but disappointingly we found much of the menu was not available on out attempt to use it. Other amenities include a few shops in reception and vending machines scattered around the hotel. There were 5 working lifts covering all floors.
We asked a few queries of the reception and staff were very helpful and polite with good English despite my attempts at Spanish. Residents were mostly Spanish and very friendly and I did my best to engage. Again, they were quite patient.
We did not use the hotel's outdoor pool during our stay but it seemed large and well maintained. We passed the indoor pool on our way to the beach which was likewise welcoming.
A small play area sits alongside the outdoor area, near the pools. We were attending off season so unfortunately missed the hotel's entertainment programme.
Near to the hotel is a small but reasonable supermarket (5 mins walk) and two further hotels with restaurants (10-12 minutes walk). We ate at one of these and it was very pleasant.
I highly recommend asking reception about the local buses. There are two shuttle buses (línea uno, línea dos) which cost 85 cents each to travel into Guardamar. Separately, a large bus ran in the morning and evening and was free.
The hotel also has a large secure car park if you seek to hire a car.
From Guardamar bus station, you can easily travel to nearby Torrevieja (20 mins) or Alicante (45 mins).
Guardamar itself has a long beach front and a number of shops, cafes and bars well worth checking out. We ate mostly in town. We found the locals very patient with our broken Spanish and noisy children. Two main parks especially Parque Reina Sophia were very pleasant, the latter having a large pond with terrapins and wild birds.
All in all a pleasant stay at a nice hotel. Just be prepared to use the hotel as a jumping off point, especially off-season.response / report this review -

Nice spot. Right by the beach and also a pool with a café. Buffet type meals.
The bar-not so impressed, locked doors and turned off lights to tell people it was finished and to leave by other exits. 🙁response / report this review -

Shocking is the only explanation for this hotel firstly walls are terribly thin and can hear every single noise from the neighbouring rooms. Children's play area is very basic and not catered for small children ie the swing is falling to bits and on serious need of repair. The food is only good enough for giving to the pigs has every meal we have eaten as been cold. Sausage at breakfast under cooked and also pork at evening meal was under cooked. The quality of all the food is extremely cheap and poor. After 3 days in to my holiday I have decided not to eat anything else that's cooked has I genuinely feel for my own and my family's health. The meal times are shocking evening meal is served from 20.00hrs which is ridiculous when you have a small child my child has a routine and this seriously disrupt is normal bedtime routine. No kettle in the room or tea making facilities so yet again not catering for families that need to heat bottles. Upon arrival requested 4 times prior to coming that a cot was requested no reply once arrived we had to ask again twice to be told we should of informed them before we arrived tried but no response. Parking is a joke and was charged at €4 per day to park yet again no mention of this prior to arrival. Has you can see lots of hidden things here that people should be aware of prior to arriving . This is quit clearly NOT a 3 star more like 1/2. We are totally dissatisfied with this hotel and will not be returning again ever.

This hotel is so good because the service is quite good and the activities are very well planned. The beach next to the hotel is one of the best in comunitat valenciana.

hotel has lovely position right on a superb beech with sunbeds and parasols (payable) with a small bar. hotel has good facilities, rooms clean and tidy staff very friendly and helpful.. food is excellent and varied..ideal for kids with the animation team really very goodnot particularly close to the town and will cost 10 euros each way..please be aware that this is a mainly Spanish and all entertainment is in Spanish.very good
