Normal 3 star hotel, can't really complain. You get what you pay for which was pretty standard rooms, food and drink.. But the staff are a little on the rude side, me and my girlfriend were on the roof in the hot tub just relaxing when one of the waiting staff came up to us and told us to clean up all the empty drink glasses that other guests had left behind. I found this incredibly disrespectful as we had only been in the tub for a few minutes and did not have any drinks with us. I did try telling him this but he just huffed and threw his broom on the floor in frustration.
Hotel was alright and it had little extra that I didn't expect like 2 jacuzzi but I didn't go in the pool or jacuzzi. There is many beaches around and it's nice to walk around out side the hotel. Only pictures I have are of the view from our room on the 4th floor sea view side.
Good bargain in October. Rooms could be cleaner and charging 30 euro for a safe key it a bit harsh. Food is decent so is the pool and entertainment for the kids. Everyone is friendly and it's a nice place to stay.
Excellent staff. Food is OK (but not labelled well for vegetarians). Service is very good. Facilities are good. But the 2 stars are because the walls are so thin and its very noisy at night; so much so that another couple have paid for a room in another hotel just to get away from din at night!
If you're looking for a cheap budget holiday this is the place for you but be aware it is not in the main area of Salou there is nothing but steep hill's round about it there is a small beach nearby but the main beach is a 15 min bus ride away but worth the journey. The hotel staff are very pleasant and friendly but the rooms are a bit dated, they still have tubed TV,s which have no UK channels but the rooms are clean balconies have no tables so your drinks are on the deck, the food is diabolical poor menus poor quality and not very not even if you are in just when the dining ingredients room opens doesn't help served on cold plates, they boast a snack buffet for all inclusive guests what's available is the left overs from the previous meal. If you have a mobility problem this area is no good for you its all hills if your fussy about what you eat you will go home hungry and there's not many places to eat nearby. The roof top Jacuzzis are good and limited to over 18s so it's quite quite and there us a rooftop bar the pool is good also and plenty for kids, have no plans to return to this area. Very disappointed.
Facilities and entertainment are good. Rooms and food aren't the best.
This will be our 4th holiday at the molinos hotel and can honestly say its good value for the price we pay its very family friendly and spotlessly clean throughout if a little dated ,,the rooms are small, basic, clean,, thin walls,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,restaraunt we enjoyed food very much Fresh prawns ,,salmon,, veal ,,pork,, veal,, steak casserole,, chicken legs ,,salads,, soup ,, pasta , rice etc, and a lot of garlic and washed down with glass after of wine and childrens menu nuggets pizza burgers etc ,,,and nice bar in restaraunt,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, The main bar area is good serving good selection of drinks cocktails spirits , sandra the info lady is brilliant ,,,, So thanks again molinos for three great holidays and we will see you soon on 21 june 2017 for a 4th cant wait
So many of you may feel just like I did, booked this hotel then read the REVIEWS' 😔 So
I was dreading my arrival to this hotel! Well we arrived & was greeted by lovely staff, place was very clean so going good so far! Booked 3 rooms as was with family & was giving rooms on all different floors after asking if they could change it they were happy to have a look & see if they can & they did 👍 Room was basic but had everything we needed was small but why do you need to be in your room YOUR ON HOLIDAY! food wasn't all that but they do try & salad and bread was nice! Overall I was worrying for nothing. It's 3 *** not 5! Entertainment was funny & he was just a really nice & polite guy! Pool was clean but VERY cold! You get what you paid for & I would pay again!
Facilities for disabled guests are great. Food is good but not great, they do make a huge effort to cater for so many different tastes for each of the different nationalities which is good. Hotel is on quite a steep hill and there are even bigger hills to get to the beach or cap salou so if you can't walk far I would recommend a taxi into some other nearby towns. Overall I'm enjoying my stay and would come back
As a hotel, the place is pretty poor. The room is as basic as it gets, the beds are horrendous and the hotel itself is very lackluster. The entertainment (last night) was laughably terrible, as the sound system kept failing so songs would stutter, pause and slow down (think constant buffering) and this went on for a good half an hour. You have to pay for wifi, which I think should be a crime when you've already paid for a room, the food is shite (but it was to be expected) and the location is in and amongst lots of other hotels, which means you have to do a bit of travelling to see anything worthwhile.
Me and my friend are here with all inclusive passes and, to our delight, (most) alcohol is included (wine, beer and all your typical spirits). We haven't spent much time in the hotel because we actually want to experience and discover Spain, but as bad as the hotel was we actually enjoyed our stay because it's given us a lot of interesting stories to tell. If you're just looking for a cheap room to spend the night, this will do you fine and you might even find yourself having a laugh at the rediculous nature of the hotel. If you're looking for a resort to stay in, this is not the place to be.
