We stayed 5 nights, 3 nights in a deluxe with jacuzzi and 2 in the suite 1800. Both rooms were cute. The deluxe has the view on the wooden fenced portion of the terrace where the jacuzzi is, not such a great view, but very light nevertheless. From the balcony of the deluxe you can see the cathedral on one side. That's very nice. Too bad on the other side you can see 5 or 6 cellphone antennas that point directly at you at a stone throw (first night I was quite worried my brain would fry, I had to look up some literature to convince me of the contrary). I did not like that the deluxe had a bathroom with an opaque glass door that stays always a bit open at the margins: bathrooms should be closed properly (the suite's one was). However the deluxe is more silent than the suite. The suite faces an apparently very popular bar and saturday night you can imagine how many people were there (and they don't go to sleep early). It felt a bit like living in a sit-com, with the background laughing all the time. I had to use earplugs, but not on Sunday. It must be said that the hotel is trying really hard to isolate the room, there was an external window, and internal one, internal shutters and tick curtains. Still the sound comes in.
The hotel service was very useful and kind. Breakfast was good, with the only exception of the coffee/cappuccino: a nespresso machine, this to me feels cheap. At this price point I would expect I can order a coffe or a cappuccino done with a proper semi-manual machine, rather than having to use a nespresso (doing the cappuccino yourself is also not that trivial).
A wonderful hotel right in the center of Seville. Top-notch modern amenities in an old traditional building. Free breakfast if booking on their website. Free tea service in the afternoon. Wonderful rooftop terrace with a small swimming pool
Excellent hotel. Well located near the major attractions and eateries. Great staff. Comfortable rooms. The rooftop pool with views of the cathedral is amazing.
This is so romantic hotel with beautiful funitures and interiors. For the special occation, you will never regret for your choice. I am luck to know this professional service and staff, beautiful place. Strongly recomded!!!
Great hotel, almost five stars but the bathroom door and general bathroom design were slightly poor, plus we were in room 3 and you could hear guests in the lobby very easily. However the staff and standard were excellent. Location was perfect, roof terrace great. Would defiantly come back.
Fantastic location. The place is beautiful. We stayed in the entry level room that is less impressive than the website implies. High ceilings but small room with inside courtyard window.
My wife booked a surprise holiday for my 40th birthday; knowing I was young at heart if not young of years. The hotel surpassed our expectations. Attentive staff, wonderful room and sun terrace only complimented the thoughtful touches such as afternoon tea and free soft drinks. We will definitely come back. Oh, and it's next to some great food and drink.
Hotel Casa 1800 has great decor, fast wifi, gracious staff, and a delicious tea time offering
Lovely weekend stay. Temperatures in November very pleasant. Hotel a delight. Compact. Excellent location in the old town. Very close to the Cathedral and a short walk to the royal palace. Buffet breakfast to suit all tastes and complimentary afternoon tea. No evening meals but surrounded by eating places and bars. Very lively night life but noise does not intrude into the hotel. Roof pool with interesting views particularly at night. Staff very efficient and helpful. Provided us with many tips which turned out to be very useful.
