When I was in Benidorm, rooms were nice, a few hairs on my pillows though. The single bed i was sleeping in was a bit scratchy. I had heatstroke and stayed in the room, when room service arrived they shouted at me until i got out. Not the nicest place but made a few mates there.

To start, the positive was that we were in Spain and the weather was decent. the not so good point is we chose to stay in this hotel

The rooms are bearable and are acceptable for two people, however, these rooms are not good for sharing with three or more people! The room becomes cramped and the sofa bed inadequate for a decent nights sleep, especially when intertwined with the fact that the walls are paper thin and you can hear conversations from many rooms a way and from floors above or below you! The bathroom is okay apart from the fact the walk in shower leaks to the point where you have your own personal swimming pool which is close to impossible to mop up yourself.

The food at this hotel is extremely poor and inadequate for a 3 star hotel - when staying full board you expect a range of hot food choices for lunch and evening meals especially when the establishment has a 3 star rating - the fact only 7 choices of hot foods (including sides) are available and 90% of the offerings are cheese, salad and wet or stale bread stored upon a flies nest it is certainly beyond awful (especially when youth hostels in remote areas and 2 star hotels have provided far better food than that was served). The majority of the food is under or overcooked or is swimming in excess amounts of grease and oil as well as the range being extremely poor. Chips were often soggy or green and meat of a poor quality (if offered at all!). Breakfast range was awful, something which even the worst of hotels can often get right, what Spanish hotel does not offer at least one of pancakes, pastries, eggs or bacon daily? The hotel just seems to be obsessed with cheese, ham and stale bread. Waiters and waitresses can be helpful, however, their English is extremely poor. The chef on the first day I was at the hotel was also extremely rude and even barged me into a counter to get past me before laughing to himself. Overall, I spent most of my stay eating at better local establishments. When we raised this with our Jet2 rep he said he thought the food was 'alright' here, however it must be so decent he leaves to get food at other hotels!!! Jet2 also did not seem to be bothered at all.

The size of the pool area is also not suitable for the size of the hotel, having to queue from 8:30am in the morning to reserve a sunbed in order to use the pool is completely wrong when it is a facility that is promised to be useable by all guests. The pool is also very small in size with only 25% of it being useable by families (1.25m) and the rest being 2.5m deep, this results in one end of the pool being extremely overcrowded! The range of entertainment on offer during the day is limited or non-existent and when it is on it is rarely aimed at children or the English for that matter.

The bar area is very nicely designed, most bar staff are polite and a variety of drinks are on offer, they are not cheap when compared to local bar prices but are reasonable for the hotel.

Overall, if you literally just need somewhere to sleep desperately and are not bothered about having anything semi-decent facilities wise or about noise or non-leaking walk-in showers then this is the hotel for you! Otherwise, you can do far better if staying in Benidorm than this hotel and if you do stay here Full Board is not worth it, eat out, you can do far better and it's reasonably priced! Honestly, just stay somewhere else in Benidorm you deserve better.

The hotel is very nice, and a 5 minute walk to the beach. There are many shops close by and the old town is bustling with bars and restaurants. The staff were very welcoming, efficient and helpful. The food was very good with a large variation, catering for all. The entertainment was good and we particularly enjoyed learning the Spanish dances with the entertainment manager, Hilda. We will definitely return to this hotel. It was a lovely holiday, great hotel, with a great atmosphere, full credit is given to all the staff. J.Redford

The hotel is very nice and kept very clean, Hotel's reception staff are very friendly are are always happy to help.

The food is very nice but there is a severe lack of hot food. There are only 6 trays of hot food everyday, alongside the fresh cooked food - which they have 1 of daily (per meal). The breakfasts are sub par, food seemed under-cooked. Dinners were nice but again a lack of hot / warm options of which were sometimes cold / empty when there was some. The restaurant itself is laid out ok, its a bit cramped and sometimes have to share tables but again is kept very clean.

The rooms are a little small but are always kept in order, the bathrooms inside the rooms are very nice and you are given soap and shower gel which is nice. Every balcony looks onto the back of the hotel, where the pool is so no matter where you are you have a nice view, night or day. The hallways to get to the room are a little dark and grim and the keys to the rooms work just fine. The rooms do have a lack of plugs though; there are only 2 in the bathroom and there is one extra under the TV hidden in the cupboard.

The location of the hotel is great (4*/5*), it right near the town and also 30 seconds away from a supermarket. Very easy to get a taxi from the hotel too, just ask the reception to call one for you and it will be there within minutes. The location isnt perfect though as the transfer service we used dropped us off round the corner from the hotel so we had to walk for a couple minutes before we could actually get to the hotel and some would refuse to go down the small street the hotel is located on despite there being enough room to get down (There is a bus service that runs down the road too)

Overall it is a nice hotel and would stay there again but there are probably better 3* hotels in the area for a similar price. Cleanliness is 5/5, location is 4/5, food is a 3/5 and the staff are a 5/5.
