Don't be fooled by the nice pictures. Stinking smoke rooms, poorly maintained furniture, dirty towels, no where near a 4 star hotel. You would be better off somewhere else.
Shame in Holiday Inn for falsely implying this is 4 star.

Most staff are very helpful & pleasant. Comfy beds, clean room, could do with a kettle with tea/coffee in the rooms! Great pool, good breakfast buffet. Fab area close to beach, supermarkets, restaurants/cafes & bars. Lovely quiet area.

Good spot. Not a 4 star, equivalent to Irish 2/3 star. Clean cheap n cheerfully. Rooms need refurbish but they do the trick for what you need. Breakfast is ok nothing fantastic selection of fruit cheese hot sausages n eggs teas coffee not worth the 12 extra they charge for it. The bar and pool is very nice. Relaxing place friendly staff.

First night was a huge disappointment as it is supposed to be a 4 Star hotel. But in fact it cannot be
It has a very outdated furniture, especially the carpet of the corridor is disgusting - old, dirty
We asked for a quiet room on an upper level with double bed, we got a single bedded room on the first floor, with a view to the swimming pool/garden where people spent their nights sitting, drinking, shouting etc. And considering the fact the walls are "thick" as paper, we could not really rest in the hotel.
AC has only 2 options: on and off.
However the location is good and the staff is nice.response / report this review -

I have never been in such a bad hotel. Breakfast is plainly disgusting and made me literally sick in the stomach. Staff is very bad they can barely speak english and never heard the word service!! The couch in the room looked like they took it from the garbage, so dirty and broken. TV set looks from another age, just like their gym. Sauna is so dirty that I didn't even dare to go inside. Pool is nothing like the one on the pictures. Such a low quality in everything!! Who gave this hotel 4 stars?? The only thing that is 4 stars is the crazy highly prices!

Got a room on the ground floor. As we found out, wifi is not guaranteed with the rooms, only in lounge area. There are no duvets, only covers, and the walls are paper thin. Other than that the hotel is nice, close to the beach, and the prices are reasonable.

Situated 10 minutes walk to the beach and 1/2 hour drive from airport. Approximately 100 rooms. Sauna, bar, beauty salon, 2 lifts and srairs to all floors. Clean rooms and common areas resonable priced rooms but never pay full rate.

A hotel in a very nice area, comfortable accessibility to central Alicante, good breakfast and an outside pool. Not far away from the beach, which is superb. Local supermarket just 10 minutes away with other shops withing close waking distance.

the place is nice but there is no any electric kettle in Room and also any refrigerator. there is bus stop in front of the hotel so easy can go to city center and come back hotel by bus and save lots of money . The Room is clean and staff is lovely. Hotel place is nice and quiet.
