Excellent hotel. Great breakfast. Good location.
Both Hop-On Hop-Off bud lines have stops in front of the hotel.
Only one downside to this hotel. It’s crazy expensive. Way too expensive for the rooms/service.response / report this review -

It’s fine but it’s in need of a refurb and it’s not worth 200 EUR per night. You don’t even get a coffee machine in the room as standard. Also I was in room 1129 and there was 0 sound insulation from room 1131. The very loud woman in the room next door broadcast a full roller coaster of emotion through the wall. Whooping and cheering at 11am. Crying at 3am. Shouting at her partner at 6am. I was treated to it all.

Nice hotel. Room was quiet and comfortable.
Telephone did not work in room and television was a little old and smaller screen than I expected.

I recently stayed at the Hotel and it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. The hotel is conveniently located close to many attractions and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was delicious and there was plenty of variety to choose from. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend the Hotel Royal to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area.

I walked in at 1000am. Told counter just needed to drop luggage would come back when check in starts. A real customer service professional immediately stated, sir I will try to accommodate you now. He did , I love it, this is were real professional care for professionals.

Place was nice, a bit far from main attractions. Love the chocolate caliente available at the breakfast buffet and there's a big shopping mall right next door. Personally, i would rather stay at the Hilton Diagonal Mar because it's right next to the water and there's a shopping mall accross the street as well. It has a great view and i love walking along the shore all the way to Barceloneta beach and making my way to La Boqueria to find something tasty.

Very clean, the room is a good size, the washroom was modern and well maintained. Staff was helpful and spoke English well. Lots of small shops and restaurants to grab a bite outside the hotel. Taxi stand out front, and 1 block from subway. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel. Nice customer service. The Mosaic restaurant is very nice with delicious breakfast. Situated in a very nice, clean area.

From start to finish a bad experience - 5 days in a bad hotel
Check in was slow and rushed - no welcome or politeness
The first room had the driest air con ever - we work in the morning literally gasping for moisture and oxygen
When I requested to change the room I was told "we are full" - I suggested that was no problem and could the arrange a transfer to another hotel
A room "miraculously" came available and we moved
The room key needed "fixing" each day - it was my fault for having it near my phone according to the receptionist - very hard to do when I didn't have my phone with me for one day!
The details in the hotel are poor - draws broken, stained carpets and general "we don't care" attitude
I am a gold card holder and stay over 50 nights a year in Hilton - this is by far the worse and the biggest problem is that they do not care

Beautiful hotel, all the modern American amenities with upscale bathroom, oversized walk-in shower or standard tub. Premium quality sheets, duvet. We stayed on the executive floor, with complementary robes, and slippers. Service was outstanding, all the staff went out if their way to help.with accommodations and baggage. Restaurant was overwhelmed the night we went and we had to wait one and a half hours for food which was quite bad when it came, but everything else about the hotel was outstanding.

Bathroom functions perfectly. Main mirror is electrically demisted so I don't have to clean it when I shave after shower.

Very businesses friendly and focused hotel. Rooms are clean and good. The location is great for business events but maybe not so good if you are a tourist.
Staff are friendly and very helpful.
Hotel wifi is not so good.
