Baby pool is too deep for a baby and not heated. Food is OK but some days it's terrible. Room is nice and clean. Charged extra for baby bed on arrival. Close to beach and busses available into town.

I am currently here and to be honest I'm not too impressed.
While the room is OK (just) and the pool area is very nice, but the staff are ridiculously slow and If their not slow their just rude.
The food in the restaraunt is horrible. I've stayed in Salou before and I know what to expect food wise and as a result my standards are not set too high, but this is shite. Swimming in oil, half cooked slop.
Also, you have to pay for your safe, WiFi outside the bar is €18 a week per device.
This is NOT a 4 star hotel. 2 yes 3 at the max but miles from being a 4 star hotel.response / report this review -

Excellent hotel, very good food!! The staff are really friendly especially the bar staff, they are a right laugh!! We will be definitely coming back again

Positives..hotel was clean and modern, rooms large with good facilities. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Staff were friendly, nice pool area and play area. Perfect location to the beach. La pineda was lovely, safe sandy beach, nice restaurants and close to the theme parks. Ideal location.
Negativeson arrival wanted €100 for deposit in case of any damage to the room, which would be refunded at the end of the holiday, the relaxation terrace outside was shut, no beauty treatments available, restaurant small and the food was disgusting, minimal choice, a lot of fish, no signs to say what the food was so you had to guess what you were eating. One night they served bunny rabbit!!!! If you found some food you could eat it was cold, whatever you chose. Told staff on numerous occasions the food was cold, no response from them. Definitely not 4 * standard for food. Bar staff often got drink orders wrong. On the day we arrived they was a school party staying and were there for the next 3 days, very noisy teenagers running around jumping and bombing in the pool and taking over the pool area. Very loud in the dining area. There was also a chill out area and games (pool & ice hockey) in the corridor near our room which was very noisy after midnight. We did not expect to pay for a 4 * hotel and it be filled with school parties.response / report this review -

Very confortable rooms. Near from the beach, about 5 minutes walk. The food is simple but well done. Good service. I think is a good option to stay in La pineda.

Nice complex with friendly staff. Rooms were clean and well equipped. WiFi add ignal in Romsey wasn't great but hey on holidays so forgot about work. Restaurant was good with plenty choices. Food in bar a little plastic. Overall nice place, good location and comfortable. Will go back if I get chance

Unbelievable that an hotel trying to sell 4 stars opens the season without having revised room installations.
Heating in room was not working. We had to claim and ask finally for another room.
Restaurant just correct tending to poor quality.
In opposite side, clever people in service, considering the bad managed start caused hard situations in front desk.response / report this review -
