On the first evening I arrived late at 22.30. The entrance was closed but I saw some light were I asumed the reception. No bell, no sign, no working hours at the door. How do get people in and out when they want to go eat somewhere? I made a bit of noise but no reaction at all. I spent a great night at the beach just on the other side of the road then. For free.
Next day I was still around and gave it another try. At 19.30 it was open. I asked for the price and it was 12,40€ for me (traveling by bike) and a small tent. Considering it is already december that is too expensive. I would have paid that amount in september but not at this time of the year. It did not look very luxurious either. Also the were the first campground on a three month trip through southern Europe to charge both for the tent and the site/parcell. I am basically arriving late and leaving early, just using the shower and a bit of room for the tent. They should think about their prices. Instead I pitched my tent on a beach a bit down the road.
I also would like to mention that the area around the campground is not very nice either. The road at the beach side is ok but there is nothing to do but go over to the beach. The backroad is littered heavily.

We drove all round Spain for a month and this was the best camp site we stayed in. The staff were helpful and friendly and spoke good English. We wish many of the other camp sites had been half as good as this.

I wouldn't give this place any stars if I could. I would definitely recommend going else where if you are planning on visiting Gibraltar. Expensive for what you get. No pool, not much there. Toilets are not clean. The pitches have a ramp to get up to and scratched our car and did it damage. Not a nice area. Very very noisy at night when you are trying to sleep. Stray cats and dogs making noise all night! Go elsewhere!

Camp is pretty good. Not for 5 stars, but very clean, quiet and very kind hosts. It is lead and managed by people with special needs. They are very dear and working. The beach is very close and also Gibraltar is on few km away. Not so cheap (2 persons, motorbike and small tend), 24€, but it is worth every cents. We have extend out staying for one day, that we could feed the monkeys :)

    UPDATE FOR SECOND DAY!!!

Unfortunately, we decided to stay one more night. First that we notice is the guy that walks around and force the people to obey all rules from paper ( there's a lot of rules on the paper), then we find a lot of cats around ( the dogs are not allowed) etc. Suddenly, we did not feels so good as first day.
And for conclusion, staying here for one day and resting from the trip is excellent idea, but not more than one.

Coming from many years (24 to be exact)of the hospitality industry I alway try look at each rating and comment for what they are. .ie 1 star for no dogs allowed. But this campsite has no idea what hospitality is and dismissed us as they where not able to help. Funny enough after been kicked out ànd while looking for a place to stay the police stopped to ask if we where ok we told them our problem and they said no problem wild camp in the parking right outside the campsite but just for 1 night.. all I would like to say is don't walk away from us when you have a parking lot empty.

Nice place to stay for a night or two, if you don't want to bring your car to Gibraltar. Taxi to the border is under 10€.
