Definitely a must! The whole premises is out of the ordinary, with small stairs and a beautiful path with flowers, plants and Moroccan lights to go to the restaurant and the Morrocan style tearoom which has a small terrace with a picturesque view.

This restaurant is number one in Vejer de la frontera, but we think it is number one in Andalucia. The north african menu is full of some of the tastiest dishes we've ever eaten. Moderately priced, and the service is outstanding.

This restaurant is our special treat. We book a table months in advance, then arrange accommodation for that night. Take the hour and a half drive, and always enjoy the most wonderful evening. An absolute pleasure. You must book, it's hugely popular.

The best part about this restaurant is the amazing atmosphere. As soon as you open your menu, you can read about the history of the place. You walk down tiny staircases through cave like dwellings to find yourself immersed in a whole new world of Moroccan themed decor. The ambiance is perfect and the feeling surreal.
The service was great too. Our waitress was very attentive and even refilled our naan bread basket for us.
The food is very good! It's just not phenomenal, hence the 4-star review. I expected slightly better with the spices and flavoring. But don't get me wrong, it was still tasty. I will definitely come back.
This could be a place for a romantic dinner or a small group of family and friends. Reservations are required and you should plan at least one week in advance.response / report this review -

BEAUTIFUL AND UNIQUE PLACE, a lovely waitress took care of our orders and gave us great suggestions about what to eat! Great wine too. And good prices, considering the good quality and the fact that it is a very touristic place (and one of the best in town). We didn't have dessert so I can't comment on that, but the starters, salads and main courses were all wonderful (we had lamb in different ways and libanese chicken).
