Excellent location. Good cuisine at the rooftop restaurant. Comfortable rooms. Noisy surroundings. As I said last time here, two years ago, in need of soundproof windows!!!!

Very good hotel with really nice staff. Put themselves out to be of assistance to all. Food exceptional and central to lots of interesting places. Would highly recommend.

Poor service, unfriendly and uncooperative staff, room service delays had to call repeatedly, 6 people room service provided 1 toothbrush despite being told, overflowing shower and toilet absolutely disgusting, air conditioning was not working they had to send a mechanic to come fix it, unprofessional in listening to our complaints as if they just don't care. Never going to Egypt again let alone this hell hole

A reasonable hotel. Appears to me not to be a business mainly hotel. Rather a tourist/vacation hotel. Needs a bit of maintenance.
Beds are very comfortable, and the cleaning level is great.
Breakfast good, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Great location by the Nile, and a great view of the area from the roof top coffee shop.
Good price, to some extent makes up for the above. However I had to really fight when checking in to really get my Non-Smoking room.
Make sure to ask for a Nile View Room.

It's a pretty good hotel for Cairo in a reasonable location but it's not 4* by UK or US standards. The lobby is tiny and noisy and the rooms are dated and in need of refurb. Room service was fairly quick and the pool looked good but was small and full of kids It's also accessible and easy to see from the lobby so hardly private. If you can get a reasonable price then worth considering

Very low quality for quite a lot of money! Everything is worn out. Windows have zero sound and temperature isolation. And air conditioners are so loud you cannot sleep with having it on. Relatively well connected, but the party boats downstairs would destroy your sleep until 2 am

I like the roof and the view. Enjoyed having a meal with some friends with the great view. Service is not always professional, but the good view compensate it.

We seen only the same one staff with very busy on the phone at reception for three-nights stay.
I waited for my luggage to bring up to my room for almost 50 minutes.
They gave only one complementary bottle of water for all three-nights stay.
Well-furnished and clean room.
Ten minutes walk to egyptian museum.

I stayed in the hotel twice, nice hotel and friendly staff. The location is very good, very close to the Egyptian Museum and all public transport. The view from the top restaurant is amazing.
I give it 3 stars because the noise coming from the boats in the Nile side or from the club in the city side. Management should invest some money upgrading the facilities of the hotels and the rooms. If you don't mind sleeping with ear plugs and don't want to spend $$$$ on the 5* hotel. I recommend Novotel Cairo El Borg.
