It was a nice stay, the breakfast was good and I liked the free valet/parking service. The only downside, however, is the bad smell that came from the air conditioning system sometimes, looks like it needs some cleaning or new filters.

I've stayed here quite often. Its homey and the staff are friendly and reasonably competent. The Indian restaurant in the basement is pretty good. Rooms are a bit variable, this time mine smells of damp - I don't notice after a couple of minutes but if I was paying for myself I'd probably be annoyed
On the plus, they serve beer in frosted glasses.
So just be clear it's not the Intercontinental (round the corner) which is much more "grand hotel" but actually a but soulless.

A little expensive like any other quality hotel. High quality furniture, nice service but still located in a busy area.
