I think that this incredible site could be better organized.
There are too many people trying to get you on a camel
(apparently it costs more to get to get the camel sit down to let
you get off, rather than the fee t get on) and others selling

If you want peaceful Trip avoid Horse and Camel, horse-cart ride.. Stay away for Tricks to cheat tourist for money. Better to take Tour from Hotel in Cairo..

The shape of the pyramids themselves may have been designed to evoke the rays of the sun streaming between heaven and earth. The great pyramids at Giza have another connection to the heavens – they are large enough to be viewed from outer space and are clearly identifiable on satellite photos.

A good place. You can visit it. Also use tourists guides will help you to know more about this big thing and the statues just like seeing in film but it's really real.

The pyramids are truly beautiful as you'd expect, but they were probably much smaller than I had expected. The sound and light show is actually quite disappointing and it bugged me that they had two separate prices for Arabs and non-Arabs. There are also a lot of people who are quite aggressive in trying to sell you something and I almost got into a fight with one of them. It put a sour note on what should have been a pleasant evening admiring this architectural wonder.

Amazing piece of history. You feel humble in front of the various monuments. Wish they just make it a better experience. Entry area is horrible. Roads are not paved with lots of damage. You get in and if you are lucky you don't pay a fortune. But the experience makes you forget all the above. Its a place to visit for sure

If you think you feel small next to an ocean, then you can't imagine how insignificant the pyramids will make you feel To be lucky enough to see this with my own eyes was incredible. Honestly, I was nervous traveling to Egypt but my fears disappeared after meeting the people. They were kind, gracious, and so happy to have people visit their amazing country.

I had a great time here and it was only 80LE Egyptian Pounds. The sales people are a bit aggressive but just say no. Had a great time. There are police on site so that made my family and I feel a bit safe when people were asking for tips.

If you are into things Egyptian this is the place for you. Of the 152 pyramids in Egypt these are the most sensational. They are part of the seven wonders of the agent world. My wife will attest to the spiritual quality of a visit. Climbing the steps to the entrance of the pyramid is outstanding.
The second pyramid while a bit smaller still has some of the polished surface remaining and less busy when visiting. Imagine the three pyramids covered with a polished finish in the rising sun. WOW!!
The vendors can be a bit aggressive at the great pyramid but they are just trying to make a living.
Try the 15 minute camel ride into the desert. It is beyond cool.
Oh and BTW the Sphinx is just down the road.response / report this review -

The entrance fee is only 80 Egyptian pound. But if you want to go inside the pyramid, it's another 200 Egyptian pound. Though there's hardly anything to see inside, I still recommend that you enter the pyramid. However, I don't recommend this to old or unfit person because there's some steep climbs and some up hills required that you bend your body. So, if you are over weight, unfit, old or have walking problem, then don't enter the pyramid. Just enjoy it from outside.
Do not give your tickets to touts, who claim to be working there and will promise to show you some back doors. If they offer to help you to take photos, just walk away unless you don't mind giving away 20-50 Egyptian pound.
The Pyramid is a must visit. Avoid talking to people who offers you free ride on their horses or camels.response / report this review -

My wife and I visited on 7 September 2017. We did a private tour (with driver (Farag) and guide Hanan)) for two days, who took us to the sites. We had separate guide at the Pyramids. At this site, we did it on horses and it was great. The guide took us to good locations and took many good and funny photos of us.
They warned us about people around the site and try to avoid contact as they try and sell things that are junk. My wife got sucked in by a guy with camel to get photos, so we had to pay him, although only 100 Egypt pounds.response / report this review -

Lifetime memorable experience. Only beware of the vendors and guides who Will try to earn very expensive money from you. Better to take a trustworthy guide with you from hotel itself.

Had a fine experience but the locals and people with horses, camels, carts etc literally ruined my first time experience. Just BECAREFUL they expect money for any kind of help they offer. If you want to visit this place come with a tour group or an Egyptian friend (a really close friend not someone from the street) who can mingle with the workers/locals.

A truly awe inspiring feat of human endeavor. Be warned it's always seems to be swarming with selfi snapping tourists. Worth the visit nevertheless. A camel ride around the necropolis is the ideal way to get away from the crowd and take In the sights.

Great place to visit. Just don't get ripped off by the Egyptians before the ticket booth. Always buy your tickets and enter before dealing with any Egyptian. Even then, be careful being ripped off. They may be official with ID and all, but they expect money every time they help you.

Must see place in Giza. It's complex of three pyramid known as the Great Pyramids, the massive sculpture Great Sphinx. You need about 3 hours to see all places and walk about 10km to see pyramids from every perspectives.

Actually i never wanna give one star also. Every solicitors pretend 'observer' taking ticket from foreigners. And then they beg for 10EGP with screaming "go away to your country, if you don't wanna give me money" . Government has to resolve this situation. Whenever i go there with delegation of ministry or dispatchers, i am so shameful and seek of that. If Egypt wanna increase the number of tourist, local peddlers' manner and tourism environment have to be developed. It's too awful!!!!

I like this place because of its historic significance.
One should go there before the gates open. You'll have the pyramids all by yourself, your guide and occasional locals on camels. Early in the morning is also a good time to take photos of the complex.response / report this review -

Taking photos inside pyramids is prohibited but the guards turn blind eye on people who tip them. I think they should strictly ban and fine people using flash and let the others take pictures that do no harm. But that would require the management to battling the corrupt guards who don't seem to do their job, and instead annoy visitors.

These majestic structures are a wonder to behold. But don't get caught up, although there is vigilant security there are hoards of pickpockets around. The proximity to the city and the graffiti take away from the experience. Be sure to enter one of the chambers.
