very good hotel

I was at the hotel on 2nd, 3rd & 5th of November, 2017. Location of the hotel is good with a bank right opposite to the hotel (for currency exchange), Cairo Mall & McDonalds’ at just 400m from the hotel & the pyramids not far away.
Décor is ordinary. Service is very poor. This so called four star hotel neither gives you complementary water bottles nor tea/coffee/sugar sachets for making tea/coffee. Their desk clerk Mustafa charged me 20 Egyptian pounds for an hour of wifi. In the evening, when I noticed the web site promising free wifi, I registered my protest & then was offered free wifi. Another receptionist, Nancy, has mastered the art of sitting over any & every service request without action.

Absolutely great if you are a person who doesn't wish to sleep Music is constantly being played at such high volumes you can feel the vibrations in the floor from the room.

It's a place with nice Interieur, and the Service smaile evvery time to yuor face. The food you can enjoi, (it's hmm fein) the different restaurant's, oll place you find frendly Service Personal, to in the Bar's from the Barceló Cairo Pyramids.

Although hard to find and located 30 minutes from the airport, we loved this hotel when we stayed. The stay was friendly and were always more then happy to help (which sometimes proved difficult with the language barrier). The location of the hotel is great, a few minutes drive to the pyramid complex and a short walk to the shopping centres and reataurants. The foyer area was modern and offered many areas to relax if you wanted to be out of your room as well as an ATM. The rooms facilities were great 98% of the time, with the only disappointments being one morning the water running brown for an extended period of time (expected in a country like Egypt) and the broken air conditioner in our second room. We had a great escort around Egypt, Nasr, whom was our dedicated driver whilst staying in Egypt. He took us to many sites and was always helping us find the best option without being ripped off. His boss was also great, always checking up on us to see if we were comfortable and happy with our holiday. If you are looking for a place to stay in Cairo, Barcelo Pyramids is the place to be.

The facility is not mordern and especially my room is very cold. Temperature is 10 degree. Quite. Nothing special around here the staffs are kind but i have to request many time for same problem. Due to the strong traffic the time to Airport is longer than google info. If i will visit Egypt next time i will try looking for another Hotel. This Hotel not bad but still not satisfaction 100%
