It was the only airport in Alexandria, but now it is used rarely for small distance trips, but the main airport in Alexandria is BorgElarab Airport

The place is closed for renovations but it was a bus stop before that so hope they do something great after their reopening

Don't fly flyDubai . They had me pay 600 egp for 7 lbs over my carry on.. Wtthen they didn't check to make sure I hade the right visa for India because they were 2 focused on stealing my money ( I'm a normal american teacher who was living in Alexandria) I got deported as soon as I got to India from Dubai's mistake, and now I sit in flyDubai.. My layover And they were not even gonna send me to Alexandria. Dubai main terminal did. Now my luggage. All my clothes and journal for the books I'm writing.. ( they made me rearrange so I carried to much not knowing what would happen) is missing
