Came here for our weekend honeymoon and we had a gift certificate from our family members. The room is kind of small. The shower tiles were disgusting and orange. Good thing I brought my flip flops so now I can use them in there. Tv is the size of a computer screen. Used the spa but a huge group of teenagers are also here so there were kids everywhere. There needs to be another bar tender. When there's a lot of people you have to wait a while to order. Plus she looked so pissed to even be there. Just put us off. Honestly, the money that went towards the gift certificate wasn't worth it. We stayed at the "spa" for an hour and left. It wasn't relaxing at all. I'm really bummed. I kind of thought it was going to be more.
Massage review: Our wedding present included a one hour couples massage. As someone who gets a massage about once every month, I feel pretty knowledgeable about what they should be like. I mentioned to one of the ladies that I like more pressure since my muscles are more tense. She used a rolling bar on me with bumps and proceeded to roll it on every bone on my body. I now have bruises on one of my arms from the bar. The muscles were not massaged the way a traditional masseuse would do it. I asked my husband how he liked his and he said he barely felt her hands. He likes his massages very soft but he thought this was ridiculous. I left the room covered in more olive oil than I've ever thought possible. They don't use any smells in the room nor a calming oil. I felt more stiff in my back than I did before.response / report this review -

The hotel itself, rooms and breakfast were all excellent. Especially the breakfast was great, so many great choices and everything tasted good. The spa was full of drunk people which wasn't nice and the water in the pools was way too cold. The hot tubs were full of people so the only thing you could do was to go to the saunas. There were 4 steam saunas and only one normal sauna and I found that very strange because most people prefer normal saunas. The staff wasn't very polite but it was a good stay after all.

Relaxing +fun for smallest kids with one children's pool to play in (it is a spa first hand, and not "water park" so if that's the plan, there are probably more suitable places, the bigger pools were a bit cold for kids.) Good system with bracelet for lockers and paying in pool bar. Not the most luxurious spa, but nice enough and the friendly cashier made us feel very welcome.

We were a bit early for our booked and paid room, left our bags at the hotel and took a walk around town. When we got bag we were informed that our room was taken by someone else and the hotel was fully booked. The unfriendly staff managed to get us a room an hour later saying "we are minus two rooms at the moment, you should be happy you have a place to stay".
They kept on making tiny mistakes such as not informing us properly on the breakfast times, printing documents with the wrong dates on them, etc.
However the hotel itself is clean, breakfast is ok and the funky spa area is included in the stay.
Note: The interior is something different, not Nordic/Baltic clean style but more like a eclectic space theme.response / report this review -

Nice hotel with a good location. Rooms were modern and clean. We tried the restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious with a good display. Spa was also nice experience. Just watch out for those bracelets. Locking mechanism is ridiculously poor and it's 50 euros if you loose one. This comes from experience. Breakfast had a lot of options and was ok. Reception personnel needs some additional training comparing to other same level hotels, but the overall experience was pleasant.

I give them an average score.
Some aspects of the stay were great, like nicely modernized and large family room (5*). It was supposed to have two extra beds, only one in room, having organized another to be sent up, on going to bed we discovered sheets were missing, Robes were also missing.
The cleaning team happened to be in the corridor, they completely ignored me. I just took items from their trolley myself!
As for the Spa side of it, well the steam and sauna rooms are great, although the relaxing cooler steam rooms were too cold and wet, so not comfortable enough to really use.
The big downer for us was the main pools were just too cold. Unless you are chasing around or swimming hard it was uncomfortable to stay in. This meant that the 2 warm pools (hot tubs) were so crowded you couldn't get in then and few left.
The sunken bar next to the bigger hot tub and pool looks great. Mmm try waiting 20+ mins in water that isn't really warm enoigh to get served. They lacked staff.
Although the staff were always helpful and polite I would not come back
We visited here 7 or 8 years ago and it was defo warmer. I might be wrong,, but I got the underlying feeling these 'faults' were down to cost saving measures, when you pay this much it's not rightresponse / report this review -

Nice surroundings, pretty good food, spa area is really beautiful but too cold to be really enjoyable. Staff are helpful and courteous. All in all, would go again.

Mediocre spa and rooms. The interiors look a bit worn out as it is 10years old already, some things were broken. The spa was a bit crowded. Yacuuzis had very few bubbles and way too many finnish pensioners drinking beer. Very few things to do for children. The saunas were OK, although there was little variation. Basically a steam sauna and a regular one. Breakfast was great. Considering the price it wasn’t the best bang for your buck.

I like it how from the stairs to the second floor and also the second floor you can look at people hanging in the pool.

If time in Tallinn for a conference and I loved it. The hotel is nice, beautiful pool and spa. The food was good, excellent poached salmon at the buffet. The conference room we were in was well equipped.
The hotel is short walk from the old part of town and a few hundred meters from the ferry terminal. Reasonably priced, clean and attentive service.response / report this review -

I just visit spa, so, i write just that angle. Well lounge looks clean, but some red- benches has stains. Spa visit cost 10,60€ at Friday, other days will be cheaper 7,60€. Spa was quite good, but they should be put more soap rack in shower, i have to bring soap at otherside. Also sauna-pail was too small, so you have to throw water many times that you get warm. There was not place to fill that water-can, so i have to fill it in shower, which was slowly.Others saunas was better, and i liked very much that steam-sauna, where you can just rest! Also spa was nice, and its nice that you can order drinks at bar while you are in pool. Sadly, jacuzzi was full many times, so you have to wait your turn sometimes. Overall spa was quite nice, so i recommend to visit there.

Great design, both inside ande outside the hotell.
Food: we had breakfast at the morning and thought it was a basic breakfast, nothing special.
The swimingarea:
They have a amazing-looking poolarea. Very modern and with a bar in the water.
The pool it self was cold, almost too cold to be in it.
For the service: we recived a cold welcome from one of the staff. She had 't time with us and did't explane much for us.
The room: non-working airconditon and hard beds. Broaken table and got wrong room to beginn with so we came in to someone Else,, who was very surpriced to see us there.
Wolud't stay here again:)

First impression was quite bad as the person at the reception was grumpy and I didn't feel welcome at all. The room was clean and beds were nice. Aqua spa was a nice addition even though the showers were really bad (water temperature changed constantly!!). Aqua spa staff were very nice. Breakfast was good, but nobody seemed to know what I could eat (many allergies). Good wifi.

Exellent place for conference and morning swim. The pools are shallow so I'd say it's a good place with children also.
Nero evening buffet is ok, but frankly you can get a lot better food from old town's numerous restaurants.
Staff speaks very good English and some Finnish, Russian and/or Swedish depending on person.response / report this review -

Good, clean, decently sized rooms. Includes a proper breakfast and access to the pool, pool-bar and saunas. Also, there's a nice on-site spa that's worth a visit.

Do not go for a classy retreat but if lounging in the whirlpool among fat Finns drinking Lonkero is your thing then you will love it!

Luckily not that many drunken tourists in pool. It was minus 10 degrees outside and the whole midle pool was too cold to swim in. Do not take the buffet, quality not good. Rather á la carté or somewhere else. Rooms ok.
