They offer single bed, not a typical bunk bed, even in a dormitory.

I had allready payed for my visit using my mastercard, the money had been drawn but they wouldn't even bother to check the transfer when I tried to show them. Therefore they made me pay the double for the room.

Very nice and quiet hostel located in the old town. Location isn't the best, but the staff are friendly and helpful.

Great location near many attractions. Very cheap. There is a 24/7 reception. But bathrooms and kitchen could be better. Kitchen very small, bathroom smelled.

I don't know why people said it is tiny.
It's HUGE, VINTAGE and I love the environment VERY MUCH.
I wish to could stay a more night. LOVE it.

Place is inside the old city so not far from attractions. Rooms are small and bed skinny and not confortable. Toilets and showers at the same place.

Cheap to stay there, great connection to the city center and old town but minus points for hygiene, especially in the bathrooms but you get what you pay for it ;) (also: absolutely not the fault of the staff but of the people using it improperly!)

This hostel was pretty nice except that it was a bit loosely managed with just a volunteer and a cleaning lady. But I have to say compared to other hostels I've stayed this one stood out. And it was 10 euro. You can't expect much from 10 euros.

The most pleasant and reliable staff! You can leave your passports and cash blow off their protection, everything does not have to carry around town. The beds are better than most hotels. The hostel is clean and nostalgic. In fact, when I arrive in Tallinn again, I use only their hostel. 10+ points

Good facilities but lots of issues. We were sent to the building down the road. It's was very cold in common areas (where wifi worked), no hair drier, fridge broken, kitchen lacking in utensils, shower and sink blocks after a few mins and shower goes cold. We pointed most of these things out on various occasions and despite promises to fix/correct/sort them they weren't.
The main building was warm, had free apples, the coffee machine was always on, there was an oven and the queues for the bathrooms were short.
When you book request to be in the main building specifically (on leaving we were told this would work). You get much better service and accommodation there.

The location of this hostel is greatbut that's the only recommendable thing about this hostel.
I booked a single room and was directed to the annexe/guesthouse, a few houses down the road (the main building apparantly doesn't have single rooms). This really is an old house hostel, nothing romantic about it, just an old mess.
There wasn't a single door or floorboard that didn't creak (what's the huge hole in the floor in front of the kitchen doing there?).
There's one smelly toilet and one bathroom with a toilet and two showers (what's the use of that?!), serving six rooms and about fifteen guests (so be prepared to wait in the morning).
There's no daily cleaning. Toiletpaper was lacking in the bathroom for over a day.
The beds are box spring beds, but without the mattress, only the metal frame is there, with a thin cover to prevent the iron springs from penetrating your back completely.
The walls are paper thin, so I could literary hear my neighbour sigh and hear every other sound she made too.
There's no supervision whatsoever, so other guests were making noise, shouting and dancing in the middle of the night. After three nights with little or no sleep I made a complaint. The girl at the desk was very friendly and understanding: she offered free breakfast (5 euros), another room (the one without a window and next to the banging frontdoor) and extra supervision during the night (which didn't happen). So in the end staff did nothing at all.
WiFi was unreliable and out for one whole day.
I really don't get the high ratings for this high priced dump. Maybe the rooms in the main building are better, but for me this was the worst stay in a hostel ever.
