Very good service, though if you are a bit socially awkward it can be a bit uncomfortable with how nice and accommodating the staff are. High speed internet which is quite nice.

The Hotel St. Petersburg is a nice central hotel in the middle of old town Tallinn. It sits comfortably between the upper and lower towns, a few minutes from the central square and freedom square as well as a a short climb to the parliament and stone church. We arrived to a good welcome and a room upgrade having booked through Small Luxury Hotels of the World. I was surprised at being asked to pay for the room for all three nights rather than just give a credit card for charges.
The hotel does not have a lift so be prepared to ask for help in getting luggage to the room. The hotel is only three floor up but a couple more down to the restaurant so be prepared for a lot of stairs to get to and from breakfast. The room we had was quite large with plenty of room to move around the bed. The view was only of rooftops across the road and I suspect that the lower floors would only see the building opposite.
Breakfast was a large selection from the cold buffet as well as cooked dishes and was included in the price of the room. The breakfast room became a traditional Estonian restaurant in the evening. Filling if rather stodgy food.
There is a pool table on the first floor landing and some computers and games on the second floor landing. The hotel bar was very much in keeping with the room decor. It served food but we only had some local gin.
Overall, if I was looking for a good location I would go back to this hotel but I might be tempted to look at some other places in the town as well.

Fantastic hotel. A-gade from start to finish. Spot on service, clean and well kept rooms. Great atmosphere and interior to go with it. Got a smile on my face from the first step in and loved every second.

Fantastic hotel a few blocks up from Town Hall square. Very friendly staff. Wonderfully comfortable beds, spacious room, and very affordable (coming from NYC). Would stay here again as all of Old Town is a quick walk from this home base. Breakfast was included in our room rate and the buffet was great. We also paid half a day to check out very late and it was quite reasonable. The door keys were difficult to figure out.

Great Hotel. I spent a night in their suite and it was just outstanding. The unique issue was that they went to our room to check if there was fire (apparently an alarm was activated in the reception) but we didn't smoke or anything, so kind of weird. Otherwise everything good. Recommendation: rent the sauna for an hour or so ;)

I didn't stay in this hotel but I would like to talk about employees kindness. I had no phone so I couldn't ask for a taxi to go to the airport. So I went to this hotel and they called for the taxi for me. Thank you very much for this memory :)

A little theater, a little decadence Just a little -to make it outstanding. We just loved it there. Excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Highly recommended.
