  Rather small museum but cheap as well so worth a visit if you want to have an view on what influenced Estonian design and applied art. It covers a rather wide range of materials and skills.

  First, it is important to understand that in soviet time all household stuff was designed by designers. No anonymous Chinese products were available. In this museum there is the permanent exhibition with the cult household stuff (design dishes, toys, furniture etc) and they do also different temporary exhibitions, also with the touch of the soviet era.

  Big Museum, with many different type of collections. I have really appreciate the part of exposition regarding works with glass.

  Really liked the fashion exhibition from 60s-70s Estonia as well as textiles and glass work. The building itself is quite nice.

  Some very nice stuff. Their permanent exhibitions are amazing. I really enjoyed it. The others, although I enjoyed them and if you like contemporary art/design you will too, I found it very pretentious.

  The Applied Art and Design museum's permanent exhibitions tell a concise and interesting story of Estonia's design history.
  
  When I visited, the rolling exhibition featured the history of Tarbeklaas, the national Soviet glass production industry of Estonian.
