  Wonderful museum tells the history of photography in Estonia. Always interesting temporary exhibitions. Located on the premises of an old jailhouse which is an interesting experience by itself. Some places might be hard to navigate, as it is a medieval building.

  Both the house and exhibitions are very interesting. Here's a picture of a hidden medieval stairway they accidentally found when renovating.

  Little museum, which gives info about photography history in Estonia. One room shows the development of photography and famous photographers in Tallinn and Estonia. Second room has shelfs with different old cameras. Then there are rooms with different exhibitions of modern photographers.
  We had a guided excursion, which was very interesting, as the guide could give much more info, than it was written there. Also the guide told us a lot of interesting stuff about old cameras standing on the second floor of the museum.
  I would definitely recommend visiting this museum, if you are interested in photography history. But the guided tour would be more informative, than just walking around on your own.

  Basic enough museum. Only go if ypure interested in sering old cameras. I liked the gallery featuring photos of dogs! Staff were the usual grumpy standard. 2 euro entry was fine though. Skip it.

  Fotomuuseum Raevanglas on väga hariv ja huvitav. Saab heita pilgu fotograafia ajalukku. Vaatamiseks on välja pandud fotoaparaadid erinevatest ajastutest. Näha saab ka kuulsat spioonikaamerat Minox.

  Un museo realizzato all'interno di un vecchio carcere cittadino, che ospita una piccola mostra permanente (vecchie macchine fotografiche dal primo Novecento ad oggi) e al piano interrato una piccola mostra temporanea. Molto affascinante, per gli amanti del genere. Un prezzo simbolico: 2 € a persona.

  The place is having collection related to the photographic history of Tallinn. Many early photos and some device. I love photography, but frankly speaking, a bit boring place.

  It was by chance that I stumbled upon this museum, but once inside, it was a treat for anyone, like me, interested in photography and the history of the area.
