Clean, good service, nice place.
Very nice, clean and cozy place. The area around the fireplace is very nice. Friendly staff.
My wife and I recommend staying here. The staff is very friendly. Beautiful place.
Cozy, but can get chilly at night. Great pastry at cafe pachamama!
Maggie, Susy and the entire staff of LPDQ were great representatives of Ecuador and the beautiful area of Otavalo. They were helpful in creating itineraries each day and those made for awesome trips. The garden was full of hummingbirds. At night they turned on the fire in the restaurant and we lounged on the couches and chatted with other guests as it was a very homey feeling. The room we were in were spacious, faced the garden, and warm. There was a space heater and at night we would receive hot/warm bags to take with us to bed. The food in the restaurant while more than the average meal in the area was all fair trade and organic. The dessert was great, you get a cookie straight from the oven still hot but with ice cream on top. Great place base yourself in Otavalo for more than a few days. We'll see you soon. Thx LPDQ
My boyfriend and I have been travelling through South America for two months and this was the first place we have stayed that felt like a true home.
We were greeted at night time by the sweetest old man (you'll love him!) and had the best nights sleep in a big comfy bed with crisp, clean sheets.
All the staff at this place have been working here for most of their life, and they were the loveliest women, it felt like you were visiting your Ecuadorian aunties.
The owner Maggie is really sweet too, we had some great conversations with her about life in Ecuador and it's obvious that she has the best intentions in running this hotel. She pays all her staff a really fair wage and treat them like family, not staff. It really shows and makes for such a nice atmosphere.
There was always a fire on, it's a short walk to the market, the garden is so peaceful (and massive!) and the showers had good pressure and were nice and hot!
The fresh bread at breakfast was a great start to the day also and the coffee was one of the best brews we've had in South America!
