Everything you need from tutus to hospital beds. Very crowded though.
This is the largest Coral in Cuenca. They have most things that you'd like to buy. Of course, clothes are not made for tall people. Watch out for uneven and/or sloped floors.
Most of what you need st good prices
A large Coral but seems it has less products than Coral mall del rio
You can find mist anything you need here enjoyed shopping here almost like a Walmart
Many items on the shelves. Prices are average for Cuenca. 2 floors of merchandise and groceries.
This particular Coral did not have what we needed. Had to go to another.
Has ample offerings of products, at somewhat "reasonable" prices for Ecuador but the short, tiny checkout counter are TERRIBLE, narrow passageways, lacking space to place purchased items in non-existent checkout belt/tray. Many items you want to buy are not given to you to put in your CART to take to the Checkout Counter but you are asked your name with the "assurance" that said item or items will be AVAILABLE to you at checkout.
But it NEVER happens and you are made to WAIT for them while they get the attention of a supervisor that has to CALL OUT for the items to be brought to the Checkout Register. If the item consists of more than a single part, you, after waiting for 10 minutes, are in a hurry and upset foo having to waist your time waiting, you don't inspect it properly, just grab it and go, and you may get an INCOMPLETE ITEM. Coming back to CLAIM the SHORTAGE, takes you another 1/2 hour, MINIMUM, as the employees go from one supervisor to HIGHER supervisors to hear the explanation and hopefuĺly resolve the problem 😠ðŸ˜
Coral Centro is one of the largest Coral stores in the city. It is the equivalent of a combination grocery/clothing store much like a Walmart in the States. While I prefer Supermaxi for most meat and produce that I do not buy at the local markets, I find Coral to be a good one-stop-shopping store when I need to get a series of different items, ranging from plumbing to household goods and groceries, The name is confusing, because the store is in the Southwest quadrant of the City, not in "El Centro" which is the way the old town in Cuenca is referred to.
Good variaty of products.
Is like a small Walt mart
This place has everything you would need, it's sort of like a Wal-Mart.
Coral is like the "Walmart of Ecuador." You can get almost everything you will ever need here--groceries, home goods, toys, clothing, among many other things. There is also an extensive hardware and construction section. Inside the grocery section there is a bakery that churns out fresh-baked bread!
