  This church is an amazing architectural marvel directly on Parque Calderon, the center of all activity in Cuenca. It is a quiet place for contemplation and solace, and is appreciated by so many in the community.

  One of the 52 churches in Cuenca you should definitely pay to climb to the top if you visit to get a view of the city from above.

  The Cathedral is a Must visit while in Cuenca. You can go inside and admire the architecture and design. Also by paying $2 you can go upstairs to the church domes where you get a wonderful view of the city center.

  Beautiful inside and out! Head inside to the information desk to buy a $2 ticket to access a viewing point to see the domes, otherwise some equally nice views can be seen from the surrounding streets
