Very friendly and helpful staff. Set up anything we needed like a ride for the day to all of the major tourist spots. Rooms were very nice and clean. We left before breakfast was served so they gave us a doggy bag to go.

This is the most charming hotel with the friendliest most helpful
staff. They went out of their way to help with booking tours and
recommending different sights to see. The location is great and is
within easy walking distance of 2 wonderful local markets. The
breakfasts are very tasty with a unique choice of local fresh fruits
and the best coffee. Had such a relaxing stay- I hated to leave. Would
DEFINITELY stay here again if I ever get the opportunity to go back to this
beautiful hotel and wonderful city. I have already recommended this
place to a number of people. Thank you for making me feel at home!

First visit to Equidor. My wife found this jem on the internet. The staff was incredible. The accommodations comfortable and charming. Felt completely safe and comfortable. The staff could not do enough for my wife daughter and myself. If the location works I strongly recommend this facility.

Casa Joaquinis a reasonably priced and very safe hotel in the heart of the active La Mariscal district. It's a great option for active travelers who want an upgrade from the hostels. The beds are good quality, but a bit hard. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well. The complimentary breakfast is great too. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

We highly reccommend to chose Casa Joaquin to stay in Quito. We loved kindness and personalized services. Its cleanliness is really special. Our room very comfortable. Buffet breakfast tasty with its daily differences was great!

The employees were extremely nice and attentive. The place was very pretty. Unfortunately, the beds were very uncomfortable and you could hear every noise in the hotel at night.

Super friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast buffet with good coffee and made to order eggs is included. Great location for access to lots of bars clubs and restaurants. Very clean and safe. The street was a bit noisy on Fri/Sat night, but that’s the very minor downside of being so close to everything in Mariscal.

The best personal service you will ever experience from the complete staff.
Vinicio Olmos and the complete staff treated me and my two other traveling partners as royalty from the time of first contact by email to the moment we left after a three day stay. I can't say enough great things about their service in the allotted space allowed in this review. Vinicio Olmos in an emergency situation volunteered and took three of us to the airport in his personal vehicle when we couldn't obtain suitable transportation. Tell when you've had that kind of service in the USA. I saw the complete staff treat everyone staying there as though they had been friends forever. Do yourself a favor and consider Casa Joaquin for your stay in Quito.response / report this review -

Lo más destacable de este hotel es su servicio, con personal muy amable y bilingue. El hotel es bastante pequeño pero acogedor. Tiene un ambiente colonial (pareciera ser una casa antigua restaurada), con áreas para la lectura y una terraza (adecuada para fumadores). Esta ubicado en una zona ideal para turistas (cerca de la Plaza Fosh), con muchos restaurantes y bares alrededor, aunque los turistas deben tener precaución en horas nocturnas pues, al haber muchos bares, pueden haber algunos desadaptados. Las habitaciones son muy limpias, cómodas y bien decoradas. El TV cable un poco restringido y engorroso de usar (tienes q emplear dos controles). El hotel incluye desayuno, el cual es poco variado pero delicioso (recomiendo los mini croissant). Me decepcionó un poco la terraza, la cual no tiene buena vista y esta un poco descuidada (aspecto a mejorar). Por lo demás, es una excelente opción de alojamiento en Quito para viajes de placer o negocios. Definitivamente me volveria a hospedar aquí.

We stayed in a suite which offered plenty of room. The hotel is nice and in a good central location. Friendly, helpful staff. There are a number of restaurants and bars nearby. I would have given the hotel 4 stars. Except for the fact that if your room faces the street it is very loud. You will hear the cars, motorcycles, etc. This would be less of a deal if it was not at its loudest between 2am-3:00am. I don't think the rooms have air conditioning. This was not an issue during our stay but something to keep in mind. If you stay here and plan on touring the city. Book a cab and driver through the hotel. The drivers speak English. They are very friendly, helpful, and personable.

Me hospede en Casa Joaquin, por ser un hotel pequeño y por los buenos comentarios que tiene; efectivamente es un hospedaje con calor hogareño, el personal muy atento, fue un oasis de una estadía inolvidable.
