The best thing about this hotel with no doubt is their location, the staff was pretty gently prepare to solve any question to their guests. Breakfast was pretty decent too, i woke up late and they still serve me.

For a hostel in downtown Quito that is walking distance to eateries and bars it can't be beat! The place is clean and the staff is very helpful. Breakfast was provided and was delicious. The Wi-Fi was fast and consistent. I would highly recommend this place to all future guests!

If you want to feel like you're coming to your home away from home, this is the place for you.
My name is Claude - from South Africa.
I visited Quito and Hostal Andino earlier this year.
I was welcomed by the owners, Miguel and his wife - truly amazing, caring people.
My intention was never to spend too much time at the hostel. A bed and shower were all I hoped for.
What I got was a clean and comfortable experience. Just the basics; but at its cost - amazing.
Walking distance from a growing tourism area nearby, restaurants, and shops - it's a great place to stay.
Ultimately the owners are what sold me. If I ever went back to Quito, I wouldn't hesitate to return here.response / report this review -

I love this hotel. It was recommended to my sister-in-law as a wonderful, lower cost hotel in Quito. This being our first time staying in Quito for both of us, we were a little nervous. I am so happy to report the hotel and staff were fantastic. The hotel is centrally located and in a nice neighborhood. Our room was spacious, clean, and delightfully decorated. It had everything we needed including hot, hot water. The staff was incredibly attentive and cheerfully address all our requests. They were helpful with directions, recommendations and welcomed us with hugs. The morning breakfast was fantastic - fresh eggs, juice, bread, fruit and coffee. The clientele was mostly travelers and many were international so that added to our experience. I would highly recommend Andino for anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel that will treat you like an expensive hotel.

Clean and welcoming home from home on the edge of Le Mariscal district. Host Miguel is knowledgeable and helpful, staff is friendly and efficient. Ecovia, indigenous market, small restaurants, Supermaxi all within several walkable blocks. Rooms are small, baths are spotless, showers hot. Front buzzer can be late night issue in some rooms.
