  My wife and I went for a day trip to Cotopaxi with bike ride down. Our tour guide, Andreas, was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. It was an absolute pleasure to be on this trip. We hiked up to the shelter at over 4860 metres altitude and from there did a short hike up for a wonderful view of glaciers. We biked down from about 4200 metres down to perhaps 3600 metres and the ride was exhilirating with beautiful view of Cotopaxi valley. On top of that we were served delicious breakfast and lunch in a small family ran restaurant. The price was right, the guide was the best and the trip was much more than we expected. Highly recommended.

  My husband and I stayed at CarpeDM hostel 4 nights. The rooms were very clean. The staff was helpful and informative.
  Paul the creator was extremely inspiring and passionate. You have to ask him his story of how CarpeDM came about and why(if you stay, which you should!), he was a really cool person. He was also at the hostels everyday answering any questions and made sure everyone was comfortable and happy.
  When my husband and I return to Quito we plan to stay here. We did the free walking tour with Stephanie (I'm so sorry if I spelled your name wrong). She had incredible energy! It was a great way to get an overview of the city as well as learn some unique facts about Ecuador in general. We also did the Cotopaxi National Park day tour via CarpeDM adventures which was beyond worth it. The meals were great and the tour size was perfect. We got a clear day so we could see all the volcanos! It was one of our favorite travel experiences. My husband and I would highly suggest the hostel, walking tour, and any excursion hosted by CarpeDM. Hope to return soon :)!!! Thank you CarpeDM

  Excellent free tip-based walking tour if Quito. Lasted much longer than expected (5hrs) with stops for lunch in the local market as well as chocolate and ice cream tasting. Try to book a day or two ahead as they try to keep the group 8-10.we had the option after of a trip to the equator line. Carpedm also reinvest both part of their profits and also volunteer their time back into helping the local community. Looking forward to doing a bigger tour or trip with them!

  Fantastic day at Cotapaxi. Our guide Andreas was friendly, knowledgable and entertaining and it was a blast cycling down the mountain. The good food was an added bonus!

  Loved our One-day Cotopaxi trip! The hike was beautiful & the bike ride was exhilarating. A little terrifying at first but extremely worth it and so much fun! Even in the rain :-) Dress warm!
