The coolest place for dinner in Cabarete. Chris and the rest of the staff do a great job. Fun menu, modern vibe and killer food!

Owner seems like a really nice guy, decor is decent, and the place started filling up as I was leaving around 6-7 (I spent a while there as I was not in a hurry for once)

Food, well, underwhelming. For the price, anyway, which easily matches NYC. I had

    1. The only thing on the menu which I wanted immediately: Squid Ink Cevice. Which had, well, untraceable amount of squid. Mostly some greens and onions

    2. another two items which the owner highly recommended:
    A. Avocado salad which consisted of a quarter uncut avocado and a mixture of chick peas and feta. That just didn’t make sense to me. But I AM a picky taster. And
    B. I don’t remember what it was called, but it was basically a quiche, which had chorizo on top which I had to spit out (I don’t like unchewable edibles if you know what I mean)

I know I know I know, this is a tapas bar. I guess I’m just a spoiled New Yorker who gets larger tapas for lower prices.

A truly excellent restaurant in Cabarete. Food is tapas style, expect to order 2-3 dishes per person. They have many to choose from and make excellent cocktails as well. Wine selection was not so good.

By far the best meal I had in the Dominican! The front of house manager, Dror, was a great host. They also had Umbrian wine - which was a neat find.

We had the spicy wings, burger bites, meat platter, and desert. It was all very interesting and good.

The ingredients were fresh, and the dishes were well structured.

Navigating the menu was a challenge for us as we are both Atkins fans. We did however have three dishes - the chicken skewers - delicious - the Asparagus - delicious ( needed more bacon!) and the pork ribs - again delicious and as always for us Atkins folks a couple more ribs on the plate would have been ideal - wonderfully attentive service too.
