I have lived near Super Pola Sosua for almost five years now. It continues to have fresh product and helpful staff. There are located centrally and have a very friendly staff. I highly recommend shopping there.
Nice supermarket. Staff is friendly..there are atm machines and a pharmacy right next door
Have been going to Super Pola 2 or 3 times a week since it opened. It's giving Playero a run for their money. Unfortunately, it is almost always the case that one cannot find everything one is looking for in either Pola or Playero so one ends up having to go to both supermarkets. Checkout staff here appear more competent than in other local supermarkets, and supervisors impressive. Frustratingly, today they had run out of avocados.
Good selection and ok prices, meat is better in other places. Their tuesdays veggie half price is greate but crowded.
I find most everything I need here. Competitive prices. Good variety of products..
you can get all what you need - very modern Supermarket
Good selection of American and local foods. Clean. Helpful staff. Organized parking lot, near other shops foreigners need.
This place has a deli where you can buy very good sandwich meat such as Ham and Turkey. They also have a large selection of other meat you can purchase. This is a large store with a lot of selections
Really nice local market. Nice selection. But they sniff the meat. If it still smells good they change the date on the packaging ! 😞
Very nice, prices are reasonable, don't let them give you too many plastic bags.
Very friendly staff Tuesdays vegetable&fruit specials are great.
Huge variety of fresh produce, meat, imported and local items. Good prices. Very clean.
Very clean, well stocked. Alittle pricey
Very clean and "American" style Supermarket. Best selection of items for food, cleaning supplies, baked goods and alcohol. ATM machines at the entrance and easy to get to off main "highway".
Went to visit the 'Orange' store to get my wifi router turned on and was ripped off by the lady, Kathrine. I purchased my own wifi router that worked in the DR and went there to have a sim card installed. She charged me 1500 pesos @ $32 for a sim card and 10G data for 10 days. She gave me a hand written receipt which should have sent red flags. When it didn't work I went back the next day to tell her it wasn't working and I wanted my money back she refused. I believe she kept part of the money. It is ashamed some Dominican People try to take advantage of tourist.
A great place to pick up groceries and odds and ends. They have a pharmacy next to the store.
I can rarely find the correct pricing on products and have to use the scanner constantly to check prices. The store is not well maintained with stock nor is product pulled forward on shelves to be reachable to customers. Literally everytime I go to this store I have to go to Playero anyways because they don't have the simple things that I need Common things not in stock would be Limes, tomatoes, bananas, avocados, broccoli etc.
This place is as close to an American supermarket as you can get without leaving the country. Good selection of deli and bakery and food products. Prices are high compared to smaller markets or Street vendors. Store is clean, well lit and laid out in a way that makes it easier to find what you are looking for.
Nice and clean. Doesn't always have everything I need.
