Great to see English speaking people at the front desk..but the pool sucks it's in a closed in area therefore the water is cold.

Was not impressed at all. Started with a herd of drunk people in the parking lot. We could not even park. At check in the receptionist was just going through the motions. Not much of a "hello or how was your day". Then trying to order room service was tough. And yes I know that English is not the main language here, so that part did not up set me to much. It was when the food was brought to the room. The servicer was very Moody and I seemed to be taking her away from her free time. Then wanted me to pay $7USD right then. Which they had told me the price already but who has $7USD on them in a foreign country. But she said I could not charge it to my room. So I gave her 6 $1 bills and 50 pesos. The rooms are nice and clean but that is only part of the equation to a great experience.

Oh my. Do not confuse WestOn with WestIn. This is a very basic hotel. It is in a boring location quite a ways from the ocean and old town. The swimming pool is indoor (really? In the Dominican Republic???) and there is NO outdoors area available to relax in. We called twice in over an hour to get something from housekeeping and finally went and found it ourselves. There is a kitchenette which is useless because there are no dishes (not even a drinking glass, hence the futile call to housekeeping) or utensils or anything else for that matter except for a coffee maker with no filter. Oh yeah and despite the name there is no casino and advertised rooftop restaurant no longer open

I am disappointed with the services at your hotel.
1. You did not have the room I booked available. 2 queen beds then you give me a room with1 king. I should get money back for this!
2. You sent me to a room without a kitchenette after I specifically asked if room had one.
3. No one helped us with moving or bags from 1 room to another.
4. Breakfast was disorganized, food finished fast and no one replenished quickly, variety of food was very bad as NOT ALL PEOPLE EAT PORK, HAM OR SAUSAGE. You need more variety.
5. Room service people on the phone do not know how to speak English and then are rude and hang up on you because they don't understand. This is a HOTEL your employees need to speak other languages for your guests. Dominicans are not the ones coming to stay here!
6. Finally ordered room service and it tasted AWFUL and I did not get my 10% off for booking with Expedia. I should get a refund for this food terrible tasting food As I placed the full plates outside my door because it was so bad!
7. Called front desk 2 times for bottled water. It's been over 7 hours now and still no water!
8. This is not a way to treat Paying customers. I am very disappointed in the stay so far. Unfortunately I prepaid until Sunday September 10 and will be suffering until I leave with this bad service. I hope you read this and make things right but I'm sure no one will do anything like I never received my water. Definitely will not recommend the hotel and my reviews will explain why!

Just stayed in this hotel for 2 nights the service was superb. They catered to all our needs from the moment that we parked our vehicle outside to getting our luggage upstairs. The take backs would be the front desk check in is a bit delayed at times. The private bathrooms are designed with cool showers with no shower curtains you just shower as you please. There is free wifi , a gym, and a Japanese restaurant on site. Just in case Japanese food is not your thing Dominos delivers to this hotel.

Stunning view of city and ocean from our room on 7th floor. Breakfast on 9th floor is good. Rooms are larger than usual and very clean. Loved our stay

Safe was broken, no bottle opener. The breakfast sucks. They allow call girls to enter hotel. Over priced. Front desk staff not properly trained in customer service.
