If you are anywhere close to here you have to stop in for great massages and souvenirs. Owner is a great person and is doing good things for the dog's and cat's in the area

Very nice staff. The prices here are way way better than at the resorts. Obviously you are still paying tourist prices, but that's inevitable. The massages are the most affordable in the area: $40 USD for an hour, with the added bonus that their little massage hut is 20 feet from the water facing the ocean on the beach and you can easily hear the nice relaxing natural waves of the ocean as you lie and get your massage. How can you complain about that!

A business that definitely stood out. It’s online presence is great which is why I decided to visit versus the neighboring shops. The signs/banners displaying TripAdvisor accolades and that they have a Facebook page appealed to me. But most importantly, when walking on the beach it was nice to not be harassed into getting a massage or visiting the store. The staff was super friendly and helpful and on the second day we visited we met Gandula, the owner. I love that she has dogs, she’s saved and adopted. We enjoyed our massage, fish spa and found great souvenirs that were way better than what was offered at our resort. I recommended Tropical Treasures to pretty much every guest I met who was also staying at Breathless!

Very good shop! Worth walking along the beach. I have found a lot of unusual items over there. Very nice people and good prices.

Lovely shop and really nice people! It was the best shop which I visited during my holiday! Prices are good, you can find a lot of unusual souvenirs which are not shoddy like the rest of local shops offer and those people are not 'dancing' around you👍

Stumbled across Tropical Treasures while visiting. This is the place to go and relax! Skip all the other pushy overpriced places and give these guys your money. Beautiful views, awesome prices and some good German Beer!

Lovely people and reasonable prices especially compared to the outrageous hotel prices.
I'd advise everyone to visit even if you are not planning to buy anything, you may surprise yourself lol.

My husband and I went here for an outdoor couples massage on the beach. Absolutely fantastic!!!! Professional and friendly, with a price that was unbelievable. $40 per person!! After the massage, we enjoyed a cocktail on the patio. We also went back a few days later to buy souvenirs, to take back for our family. Great prices and friendly service. Don't miss out on this great treasure!!

Very friendly great views great prices on everything from drinks to massages a must for souvenirs gundulas welcoming presence really made my stay so Pleasant in a otherwise hardsell area could sit there all day with her and her dogs

Pure Paradise!!!!! There is no place as peaceful and relaxing as the beach Uvero Alto in the Dominican Republic! You want to really enjoy it, make your way to Tropical Treasures, the views are amazing! I love to enjoy one of the best massages on the beach followed by an ice cold beer relaxing in on of the lounge chairs placed out for guests! This is also the place to shop for quality gifts and meet the friendliest helpful shop owners around! If you are an animal lover, you will never leave, as this wonderful shop also helps care for and feed many of the homeless beach dogs! Like I said "Paradise"!
