  As soon as you put your feet in the parking you will have a shop owner trying to take you to his shop, very pushy people, they won't look the stuff quietly, they will follow you and talk over their merchandise till you're bored. We went into one shop and after we left another shop owner was telling us "you come to my shop now, you come to my shop now" if you don't go they get angry.
  We had to leave to don't be rude with the local people, it was a shame because I wanted to buy souvenirs for the family but not this way.

  Very cute stuff but they could be pushy salesman. Don't let them put a necklace or bracelet on you they will argue you have to pay outrageous prices for cheap piece of shell jewelry!

  Not that many stores as in a big plaza, but places enough to find drugstore, minimarket, restaurants, bank, cash machine, money exchange and souvenirs.

  Prices are higher than the airport.. But if you are stuck at the resorts, then i guess it is ok. I rented a car for $55 and was able to go all over the place.

  If you're shopping for souvenirs I recommend you try multiple stores before settling on one. That way you can get the best price. Always do half of what they say the price is
