Pomodoro was an excellent place for a group to enjoy the beach and some good pizza. We had a group of 10 and they had no problem getting us a spot as long as you are willing to eat a bit early (5–6 instead of 7-9PM). The pizzas were well done and the creative selection is a great fusion of Dominican flavors and ingredients with traditional pizzas. It was the same for the fresh salads. Order some fresh garlic on the pizzas or on the side. Great selection, I definitely recommend.

This restaurant was one of the most remarkable experiences when I went to Cabarete last year. First, in July and again in November. The pizza was an incredible thing because it has plenty of options, and even so, the waiter will let you combine the ingredients at will. The family went to the beach and we could eat our pizza in front of the sea. Prices are very good, affordable.
A drawback? If you like everything done quick, don't go in November. The restaurant is the host and closer for the Dominican Republic Jazz Festival, and gets truly overcrowded. Even so, if you get there before 7:00 p.m., it will be all right.

DO NOT EAT THE HAMBURGER I AM WARNING YOU! THE BREAD IS ABOUT 2 MONTHS OLD AND HARD AS A ROCK! THE BREAD WILL BREAK INTO PIECES THE SECOND YOU BITE INTO IT. THE MEAT ISNT FRESH ITS SOME OLD SUPERMARKET PREMADE GARBAGE.

Most of the pizza in Cabarete is quite bad but this place makes excellent Italian style pizzas. The food is excellent and they serve it with a nice chilli oil. Highly recommended.

Bruccetta was very tasty 5/5,
ham & fungi pizza was ok 4/5(dough was not very thin but tasty, topping was a lot but sadly no fresh fungi and Gorgonzola cheese),
Pina colada was pretty and nice but bitter in the end 3/5.
Anyway the ambiente was very nice but be aware of Moskitos.response / report this review -

We arrived quite late on a windy evening. Still OK to sit out in a t-shirt. They have a huge menu all very reasonably priced. I was awkward as I felt having a pizza Hawaii with grilled chicken, closed over as a Calzone (so it wouldn't cool off as quick, considering the strong wind). Absolutely no problem. The food, ambience and service we got was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Great authentic style pizza. My wife had the lime Margarita on the rocks and she said it was outstanding. Able to eat right on the beach with padded wooden chairs and a nice sun cover.

Amazing pizza and homemade gelato! I can't say enough about this spot. Not only is high-end feeling and beachfront, the pizza was fantastic. We all really enjoyed it.

10 minutes just to get the menus during an slow night, then after we finally got the menus they never came back to take our order, after asking a server to take our order his response was. ' will be back in a minute, we left after another 10 minutes waiting, 45 mins wasted

A very good restaurant in a nice atmosphere. It's directly at the beach. Some of the tables are in the Sand under Palm trees and some of them on a terrace.
It's a real Carribean feeling.
I had a pizza and it was very good. The price is like german prices as well. You can also have a glass of wine, they have very well-known wines. While you are there, they play Jazz Latin music. Everything is quite good.
